    • RSVP's "And Guest"

      There should be an option that allows us to add "And Guest" as well as the response if the "And Guest" will be attending. Also, there should be an option for feedback on how many other guests will be attending (for example: the head of the household responds "attending" but we don't know if that means the spouse and/or all their kids will be attending as well)

        Don't make your "Our Story" section, a pop out window. I just typed out a lengthy story of how my fiance and I met and when I went and selected all the text to copy and paste to a doc...the freaking window closes. Now I have to type the WHOLE!!! thing all over again.

        • Consistency across platforms

          Managing my guest list with both the website and the mobile app has been a challenge since some features work differently online and on the app. Example: "+1" vs "Plus One" Grouping house holds and adding multiple people in the app is much more clear than on the web page.

              Whatever updates you are making behind the scenes are being implemented too quickly and before proper testing has been done. Your app and website is almost unusable at times giving so many errors. Also you are phasing out old UI's and replacing them with new versions that have half of the capability.

              When people begin to lose faith in your services you will start to lose your user base. These are peoples weddings, they are stressful enough without having to worry about a site you sent 100's of your guests a link to....

                I really am glad you took the time to send us a note. We are definitely making some great changes around here – all the time – and yet, we want our product to work well for everyone. I can tell you, as you have likely guessed, the error you sent over will be fixed when you clear your cache/cookies. As someone working on their wedding website, you the Admin, are going to run into this much more often than a guest will when they just visit your website URL.

                I always suggest to our couples that they clear cache/cookies weekly when in the busy time of planning their wedding. While this might seem like a lot, it will keep the pages clear and clean for you. I also would want to suggest that you use one browser brand for your Admin work and another browser brand to test…

              • Gendered language in registry survey

                Hello,
                This note is in response to a survey I received via email titled "What were your wedding registry essentials? Tell us!"

                I would like to register my disgust at the hetero-normative language that was used throughout this survey. I have accepted that 99% of the photos on the Knot feature a heterosexual couple (the vast majority of those being white too) and understand that there are fewer LGBT weddings occurring across the country. It has made me feel marginalized in my own wedding planning, but I understood and accepted it.

                  • Ability to match background and invitation colors

                    It is so nice to be able to have the option to match your invitations with your theme. But you can only change the color of the background on the invitations, not the website background. It would be perfect to be able to change the colors, and to any color you want so it can match your wedding colors instead of a select few.

                      It would be quite helpful if I could sort, export, or view as a table all the gifts we've received from in our newlywed fund. Currently they are not sorted in any particular way and so we have to check the whole list multiple times to ensure we've sent thank you notes to everyone. Thanks for helping!

                      • Budget update

                        I've removed quite a few options from my budget as i'm just doing a vow renewal and not all the pomp and circumstance. I really think the budget should update the "estimates" based on what i have left for a clearer picture. I swear it used to do that when i used it before? Just a thought.

                          I saw that other websites or emails have moving images and graphics. Would it be possible for future wedding websites to have moving images compatible from any smartphone or laptop? (i.e a plane flying across the page for a destination website when you first enter the site, simple twinkles for some the New Years weddings. It doesn’t have to be cheesy, just subtle and VERY simple. Not so flashy it gives people a headache or distracting. There are so many wonderful ideas and possibilities.                           • Thank You Note Option The Knot App

                            The Knot app for iPhone needs to be able to keep track of to whom one has written thank yous. Seems like this can only be done on a desktop, which defeats the purpose of the mobile app!

                              No matter how many times I attempt to add the link to my venue under "Wedding Details" it will not work in a way that displays nicely (off to the left on the bottom, throwing off whole page). Additionally I see that "Google Maps" is connected to my ceremony & reception locations, but I'd like for the guests to be able to actually click on it to open up "maps" for directions from their locations. I know I've seen this on other wedding websites, so know it's possible.

                                Currently reported bug on wedding websites: Photo preview squares showing as white boxes instead of photo previews.

                                We are aware that for some accounts the photo albums are coming up and only showing white boxes, rather than a preview of the photo.                                   I like that guests can enter their email when RSVP-ing and get reminders. It would be even better if I can see who selected the option for a reminder and also have their email populate in the Guest entry in the Guest List Manager.

                                  • Please improve User Interface for Newlywed Fund for mobile users

                                    We are loving the Newlywed Fund! The site has been easy to use on desktop devices, but is nearly impossible to use when on a mobile device.
                                    I cannot update it from my tablet or phone and we have received feedback from guests that they were unable to give us gifts from mobile devices either. With many people moving away from computers and laptops and toward tablets and phones, please improve the UI to be usable for these users.

                                    • Secure RSVP Not Default Setting

                                      I think it is 100% unacceptable that a Secure RSVP (where random, uninvited people can't just type in their information and RSVP to your wedding) isn't the default setting. I discovered this today after sharing a link to my engagement photos on my site and discovering upon my return home at the end of the day that a bunch of new guests- who I hadn't invited, mind you- had RSVPed to my wedding. It took me YouTube videos and Google searches to finally figure out how to turn it off. Absolutely unacceptable that an open RSVP is the DEFAULT setting…

                                          Having been in a dozen of weddings myself do you ever do best places for bridesmaid dresses? I have had good and really bad experiences and ultimately it would be helpful if there was a list of top places. Survey my friends and I just had a horrible experience ordering offline jjhouse.
