  1. Assume both people are actively involved in the planning process, and phrase things on the website accordingly.

    The messages that appear at the top of the to-do list are only addressed to one person. Both of us are actively using the site, but every message is addressed to the one of us who happened to set up the account. It is old fashioned and presumptuous to address in-site commentary to only one of us. (This is also related to the problem that your site only allows for one person's email address to be tied to the account.)

    We are so glad you are asking this question / providing this feedback. Our Team that works with the Ultimate Checklist and Budgeter are making great strides forward this year and part of where we are going is going to cover this very issue. We recently were able to pass forward a personalization of the list that allows couples to tell us who is getting married, so we can make sure we list a gown and tux, or two gowns or two tuxs when needed. We also are working on making sure our destination wedding couples have a few extra lines on their list as the travel piece is much more prominent when traveling away from home for your event.   2. Have page section location flexibility

    "Our Story" section of the Our Wedding page on the Wedding Website can be lengthy. Our Story is nice to know, but it's not the must know part of the page. Please allow us to reorder the sections of the page, and or move a section to another page. If that is too much to ask, please just move the "Our Story" below the "The Wedding" section on the "Our Wedding" page. Thank you!

  3. Allow customized wording for sending address form

    The heading in the form specifically says we are ready to send save the dates to our guests but we are only sending out invites.. our wedding is short notice so it's in 60 days but my guests are going to get the impression that my wedding date is further out if we have time to send save the dates

    Would be awesome if you could add the option for guests to confirm whether they will be using the bus provided.

  5. Would like to be able to filter venues by location and miles

    It would be great to be able to filter by location. When I type in Jacksonville, Florida I don't want to see venues in Tallahassee, Florida. Perhaps a "x miles away" filter?

  6. Share with Spouse

    I feel there should be a button or feature where once someone has created an account to plan their wedding it can be shared with their spouse or partner. That way they can add and share ideas even when they're not together.

  7. Hashtag

    Provide a space under the couples name on the wedding website for them to add their wedding hashtag. This way all the guests know exactly what the hashtag is prior to entering the wedding.

  8. Provide ability to block a conversation in the inbox

    We contacted a vendor and had a few messages back and forth. Then we decided on a different vendor and politely informed them that we did not need their services any more. I don't know if they missed that message from us or were ignoring it, but they continued messaging us over and over, almost like spamming us. It would be helpful if there was "block" button or a "spam" flag, like in an email inbox.

  9. Why does it take 30 days to remove websIte from search engine. Change default to private. What a joke.

    Why is someone's wedding plans default to public. For general public to search it. Invasion of privacy. Should change default to private. And have to click to make it public to search engines.

  11. No Final Hair Appointment?

    Hi, The budgeter and checklist both include a hair trial, but neither list contain a place for the final hair appointment. There is a "nail and spa" check for nails and pampering, but in no section is there a place for the actual final wedding hair appointment. That means that this doesn't have a place on the timeline, and it is also not included in the budget with a recommended spending amount. Are you able to add this, please? Thanks!

  12. Vendor List

    Can you guys please allow us to enter our vendors in without having to do the google search for them? Browsing through here, I am seeing that other people have brought this up as well and nothing has been done about it! I find that ridiculous. I feel like it is a very easy fix and for some reason or another our feedback means nothing.

  13. Ability to hide the wedding date on website until you have a date picked out

    Like other wedding planning and registry websites, The Knot should have the ability to hide the wedding date on their website until a date is chosen. For my engagement party, I created a website with my registry information so guest would be able to navigate themselves there. Unfortunately, The Knot requires you to to pick a wedding date for your website even if you haven't picked a date! Very confusing for guests!

  14. Make it easier to log out, please!

    It's almost impossible to log out (or use anything within the Tools Icon) on the desktop site. When you hover over tools icon, the menu is off to the left of it and it disappears whenever you go to click on items within it. It's very frustrating.

  16. Already home owners

    In today's society many people are living together and buying homes before spending thousands of dollars on weddings. Understanding this is not the traditional way, it's still extremely common. My fiancé and myself already have purchased a home as well as combined our two previous homes so we have 2-3 of everything that most traditional brides may not have and need.   17. allow more than one email address per guest

    I have many guests for whom I have more than one email address. I don't know which one is the best for them, the one they check and the one that is old and neglected. I want to be able to send emails to all of their addresses and NOT have them come up as duplicate guests with the same name. Then if they search for themselves by name, the guest list manager comes back and says "there is more than one John Smith. Please contact the bride and groom to RSVP". Or something to that effect.   19. Ability to change color themes on wedding website

    I wish I could customize the colors of my wedding website. Several of the website themes could work for my wedding theme, but none of them are close to the right colors. Considering I don't plan on buying the matching invitations, I feel like I should be able to customize the color theme.

    We definitely know this is an ask by many of our members. We continue to add more themes through the year to bring a broader theme set forward for all couples. Having the ability to change colors on our designs is something we hope to offer in the future. Thanks for asking the question – it helps our Design teams know how important this will be to bring forward.

  20. Vendors- photographers

    I contacted a good number of photographers in your website and the majority were higher in price than listed in your website. Quite frustrating to be excited about a photographers work only to realize they're outside of your price range.

    Thank you for sending in this feedback. We continue to work with our vendors, asking them to provide updated pricing information for their storefronts. Unfortunately, we are beholden to them providing this information. I will make sure our Vendor team is aware that this is a pain point for our couples.
