What's your idea for The Knot?

Wedding Website Compressed Archive

Your site is wonderful and you all have done a great job. I understand why you'd remove websites after so many months or years have passed since the wedding -- otherwise you'd run into storage issues. This is especially true with all the pictures you allow us to upload. But do you have any plan for 10, even 40 years in the future? Your websites are crucial history, showing how each of us decides to present ourselves to our extended family and friends. At a bare minimum, the story, and venue dates and details could be an immensely useful starting point for, say, a grandchild tracking down details about his grandparent's wedding 50 years from now. Saving at least the cover photo might be helpful to identify couples. Without the cover photo, this is <1MB per couple. If there are any plans you have for compressing and archiving the websites created on The Knot, I'd be curious. You could make an incredibly powerful tool for posterity by saving them!

Thanks for your time! Again, great website!

I second Erin's question. How can we export the website to save it when it's finally removed?

Would there be a way to save, export, or archive our knot website? Maybe a way to export it as a series of files or pdfs as you can on google drive?
