There needs to be a search bar on theknot.com website. It is extremely annoying (and time consuming) to scroll through all the articles to find te advice I need. For example, right now I am trying to find an article about who is supposed to give speeches at the rehearsal dinner. Instead of a simple search of the word "speech," I am now scrolling through TONS of advice articles ranging for bachelorette party ideas, to color choosing, to dressing a dog up for the wedding. Please add a search bar on your webiste!!
Thank you for checking in. Unfortunately we do not have an update yet for this idea yet. We’re always trying to improve the Wedding Website experience for couples so we welcome all of your great ideas.
We will continue to keep this forum updated as we make improvements!
Enjoy your planning!

Please add the Search feature. I cant find anything I'm looking for.
agreed!!! I am on the site today searching (ha) for a search bar! Abandoning site now bc it's taking too much time to find what I need. Any updates?
With destination weddings becoming more and more popular, it would be nice to have a search for outside the US for Venues. Especially when creating my website i had to trick it into accecpting my venue location, which is in Mexico. i highly suggest adding more destination wedding options
I entered by venue name and it posted a wrong state. Where can I go to make this change.
are your venues researched? Lutsen resort on the lake advertises they can accommodate 200 people for a wedding standing room only or scattered throughout the lodge. The owners say 30-150 much more accurate. After having a wedding there, I say 100 would be the most comfortable. They do not want to set up tables or chairs they feel your guests can stand or sit in a chair along the wall maybe. Beware if you have wine served, pay very close attention to your bill and invoice for both room and venue, and food costs. And take care of your own details. Photos of sky lanterns they are against the law. Great front desk staff, wait staff very rude and poor service...the saying goes overpromise under deliver. Your gratuity is paid up front so whatever. Wedding parties are charge for a block of rooms regardless of occupancy, they advertise differently. And these rooms have noise from the bar and kitchen when there is no wedding taking place. One more note example: if you have 130 guests an extra 20 or so may be added by Lutsen staff and you pay so beware.
When I am searching for a venue, I filter the categories I want, and hit search. After looking through the first page of results, I click to go to the second page, and on the second page are venues that I already saw on the first page. Then if I go back to the first page, there are many venues I didn't see the first time I looked at it. It's very frustrating because I would like to know where I left off to continue, as opposed to guessing which venues I already looked at.
Please, please, please add a search bar feature. I'm finding it very inconvenient to find articles on your website and am at the point I resort to using a search engine to navigate your content. It would be nice not going to Google to type in "Save the Date + The Knot" to locate specific items. Hope this one gets pushed through!
I really like this website, but there are some key functional components that it is lacking that would make it much more user friendly.
1. Adding the ability to Sort results by price, alphabetically, newest/oldest, etc.
This feature is desperately needed in multiple areas of this website for example, the wedding dress section. While the filters are great, they are not the same as the sorting function.
2. Search Bar.
Every website needs a search bar! With so much on this website, a search bar is crucial!
3. Higher Wedding Dress Price Ranges
Just putting $10,000+ is extremely vague! Perhaps you weren't able to find out the exact price. But just saying the cost is greater than $10,000 is not helpful for brides who are trying figure out how big of a budget their dream dress will require. There is a big difference between an $11,000 dress and a $20,000 dress. For the bride who was aiming her budget around $10,000 won't have any idea if those dresses are actually close to her budget or not. I would suggest ranges of $5,000 increases starting after $10,000. Such as $10,000-14,999 $15,000-19,999 etc.
Thanks so much!
