Kids on Guest List
It would be great to be able to mark which guests are kids. When providing numbers to caterers, they often have a discounted price for kids 12 and under, 9 and under, or 5 and under. Being able to keep track of that easier on the Knot would be awesome! Overall the guest list manager is great though.
Hi and thank you so much for your idea!
We will definitely take this into consideration. We’re always trying to improve the Wedding Website experience for couples so we welcome all of your great ideas.
We will keep this forum updated as we make improvements!
Enjoy your planning!
This has been very frustrating! I added people to my list in hopes when they RSVP they can add their kids or a plus one but if I already have them in the system they dont get that option. The only way someone else can add is if they aren't already on the list. This could very badly ***** up headcount.
There should be an option to choose how many kids the family has/are invited instead of typing each individual name for each child. Also, when you export to excel, each household should be in one row instead of 5 columns for each family member that has the same information. I won't be sending an invitation to my 2 year old niece but her family as a whole. This is completely unnecessary and adds a lot of extra work to guest management.
First - LOVE this feature!!!
A couple of things:
1. It would be great if the guest we sent the link to can add their family member as well.
2. The app is able to categorize the contact information but the website cannot which is strange to me.
3. Can we send save the date?
4. Does the wedding invites have an option for them to add the name of their guests?
Thank you so much for making my life so much easier :)

Any update on this? It would really be great if guests could identify the kids and ages to who will be attending.

Has this been updated yet? We are trying to figure out how to label people on the guest list as kids but can't figure it out. Thank you!
Yes, this would be great! With the ability to define the ranges, as venues have different policies on when the age ranges start.
