Wedding Website Manager Not Working - Need to make time sensitive changes!
I keep trying to edit the accommodations section of my wedding website to add a link to my hotel room block and update my guests. The program will not save the changes. This is time sensitive and I already emailed the help line and have gotten no response. The phone line is down and a message says it will not be functioning for several days. Please respond ASAP!!! The customer service on TheKnot is severely lacking, to the point where I am considering closing my account and switching to a different company.
Ohhh I am so glad to get to share some great news with you today. Our Tech team just confirmed that a fix was deployed this afternoon to fix the editing issue we are having with the Accommodations section of the wedding website admin. You should be able to add, edit and remove items in your accommodations and have these changes stick. We are so very sorry this took so long to get resolved, but you have been so patient – and we really appreciate you!
Please do let us know if you still notice any edits that are not saving and we will revisit this on your account.

This has been very frustrating as I have been trying to edit my website but nothing seems to be saving and all categories are all over the place from me trying to fix things. It seems this is an ongoing issue and running a website through you guys doesn’t sound like a very good idea. I hope you get it fixed soon or I will be closing my account.
I can't add more events to my wedding page. Why?
There are a few outstanding issues with our wedding website where information is not showing properly despite being filled out and saved in the form templates:
1. The date of the wedding on the home page does not render, and it is not specific to a certain theme or browser - It just doesn't show under any circumstance, and the date is pretty critical information. With that, the countdown also does not show.
2. 'The Wedding' event section does not show the date either, and does not allow you to add specific events like ceremony, reception, and after party.
Please have your dev team fix these bugs ASAP.
I am trying to set up my website and it is stuck on the wrong date of the wedding!!! It won’t let me change it or change a picture everything is correct on the edit page but not on the preview page!!! Please help!!!
I'm having the exact same issue as Jackie. Can't select a theme, and when I try the page sort of freezes.
It is not working for me. I tried to start my wedding website and it won't let me choose a theme.
Is the Knot Wedding Website not working tight now? Cannot find any information or get a response from the knot.
Other comments below seem to note a site upgrade, but the actual knot site doesn’t say anything about this.
Why didn't the knot put out a notice that they will be upgrading the wedding website portion so people could've warned their guests? I don't know when it exactly started glitching but it seems like it is taking way too long to fix. I'm about to send out invitations and my website is incomplete and I am very upset about it because that's my only way to collect RSVPs! And the fixes given to one of the other members doesn't even work. Still cannot update my wedding section and the events. Any update on the timeline????
I am having the same issue as everyone else! Why is this issue not fixed when it appears to have been going on for MONTHS? I am honestly so frustrated at this point and seriously regret using the knot. I will definitely NOT be recommending the knot to any of my family or friends. The information that needs to be updated on my wedding site is time sensitive, and I have not received any response from the help line! Being told that the various issues will be resolved "soon" does not help anyone!
How do I add the “wedding party” section??? It’s not uploading when I preview site.

I'm having the same issue, everytime I select a URL nothing happens. I've tried through the app, it will let me make the URL and enter in some information but then when I go to preview or view website it says it doesn't exist.
When is this going to be fixed? I might just make our site on another platform.
I created my website several months ago and haven't had any issues until now. I am trying to update the notes/description under "The Wedding" section but there is no edit button when I try to edit from my desktop. There is an edit button for literally everything else. I emailed the support email and received a very fast response which is great! They confirmed there is a list of technical issues that they are working on (The Wedding section being one of them). Thought I would share some of the issues so that you are aware, if one of these items are something that you are experiencing a problem with:
We have a number of Tech related issues on our wedding website and guest list manager right now. These issues are mainly a result of a database transition that, when completed, will make our products more stable and easier to use. We recognize it doesn't feel that way right now, but we're fortunately nearing the end of this transition, and our teams are working urgently to make sure all of you are able to properly manager and edit your event information.
While I don't have an exact date/time for the fixes, we are working on the following:
The Wedding - this section can now only be edited from your main Website Dashboard, not within your Manage Pages (on the Left Nav in Wedding Website). Some couples are also seeing the changes made here are not saving and this is actively being researched.
Attire Showing even when blank - this issue is scheduled for a fix early this week, as we know it is still showing even when you aren't requiring your guests follow a dress code.
Ceremony/Reception locations - you may be seeing that either your location is not saving, is saving but then pulls the wrong address, or it saves and you notice a few days later it has now changed. Again, Tech is working on finding a solution that will stick so that your guests know the proper place to go.
Times changing to a.m. or 12 a.m. - There is a fix that will be pushed early this week to help keep the times aligned as entered in all of your events.
Wedding dates changing - This can happen if you are planning from a different time zone than your event is in, or if your event is overseas. Most of these occurrences are now fixed. There are a few still outstanding that should be solved very soon.
Wedding Party - Right now on our new accounts you are not easily able to manage your Wedding Party in the format we provide. The Tech team is still finding a solution that will be pushed out to all new accounts. This is just taking more time. Thanks for your extra patience on this. In the meantime, you can add an extra page and put in your Attendants manually until our formatting is corrected.
Guest List/RSVP inconsistencies - Our Guest List is under a full rebuild and we are almost done with this much needed refresh. Your information entered should now be staying in your guest list manager and as long as guests have been assigned to each of your events, they will be able to RSVP for each event. You can check their event status when you look at your list by All Households instead of the general list that opens when you first visit the page.
Event Order - Right now the site is showing your events in the order they were entered. We know this needs to show chronologically, and until we can get that pushed out in the next month or so, the only option is to remove your events and enter them again in the order they will be hosted. For example, you may want Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, Morning Brunch as your order. This is important: before you delete your events and add them back in, please export a copy of your Guest List, so you can go back in and manually add any RSVP notifications you already received from your guests, as those will not follow you when you enter the Events again.
Photos - You may start seeing a change to how the photos are formatted in your wedding website album. This is in hopes to give your guests the best view of your uploaded photos. We also know there are issues with photos being uploaded into your events, stories and cover photo pages. I am sorry this fix is not scheduled for early this week, but it is top of mind to our Tech team and they are hoping we will see progress on this much needed refresh very soon.
I can't change the theme even though I have tried near on 1000 times. It is driving me nuts. Why pay for stuff if it doesn't work? Why does nothing seem to get fixe? It's been weeks.
I am having trouble with the wedding website page. I have made my url several times and then says website was created but then it freezes. When I go back to main menu to look at my website it has me start all over and choose a website layout.
I'm having a similar problem... it says my website was created but then it just freezes on the page where it tells it picked a URL for me or if I want to create one...
I'm having same issue - I can't edit the notes section for my event! The issues aren't fully fixed!

Same issue as everyone else.... i have the venue and reception info saved but it doesn't save and isn't showing on the home page when i preview.... :( hope this gets resolved asap...
