Website Admin Features. Fixes still pending
We are very sorry that our website and guest list features are not all working at 100% right now. We know that many of you have had different issues arise in your account over the past few months, and you continue to be patient with us as we work through each item and our Tech team is able to find a long term solution that will provide a better experience for you and your guests.
These issues are mainly a result of a database transition that, when completed, will make our products more stable and easier to use. We recognize it doesn't feel that way right now, but we're fortunately nearing the end of this transition, and our teams are working urgently to make sure all of you are able to properly manager and edit your event information.
While I don't have an exact date/time for the fixes, we are working on the following:
The Wedding - this section can now only be edited from your main Website Dashboard, not within your Manage Pages (on the Left Nav in Wedding Website). Some couples are also seeing the changes made here are not saving and this is actively being researched.
Ceremony/Reception locations - you may be seeing that either your location is not saving, is saving but then pulls the wrong address, or it saves and you notice a few days later it has now changed. Again, Tech is working on finding a solution that will stick so that your guests know the proper place to go.
Times changing to a.m. or 12 a.m. - There is a fix that will be pushed early this week to help keep the times aligned as entered in all of your events.
Wedding Party - Right now on our new accounts you are not easily able to manage your Wedding Party in the format we provide. The Tech team is still finding a solution that will be pushed out to all new accounts. This is just taking more time. Thanks for your extra patience on this. In the meantime, you can add an extra page and put in your Attendants manually until our formatting is corrected.
Guest List/RSVP inconsistencies - Our Guest List is under a full rebuild and we are almost done with this much needed refresh. Your information entered should now be staying in your guest list manager and as long as guests have been assigned to each of your events, they will be able to RSVP for each event. You can check their event status when you look at your list by All Households instead of the general list that opens when you first visit the page.
Event Order - Right now the site is showing your events in the order they were entered. We know this needs to show chronologically, and until we can get that pushed out in the next month or so, the only option is to remove your events and enter them again in the order they will be hosted. For example, you may want Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, Morning Brunch as your order. This is important: before you delete your events and add them back in, please export a copy of your Guest List, so you can go back in and manually add any RSVP notifications you already received from your guests, as those will not follow you when you enter the Events again.
Photos - You may start seeing a change to how the photos are formatted in your wedding website album. This is in hopes to give your guests the best view of your uploaded photos.
We also know there are issues with photos being uploaded into your events, stories and cover photo pages. I am sorry this fix is not scheduled for early this week, but it is top of mind to our Tech team and they are hoping we will see progress on this much needed refresh very soon. We know this is so important to each and every one of you - and all of this is so very important to us too. We want to make your planning an easy process and we know these past few months have been difficult. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Tech has given us the all clear; you should be able to access your wedding website and Guest List Manager and make any necessary adjustment as needed. We really appreciate your patience while they worked through that.
Before you log in again can you please clear cache and cookies and restart your browser. We do recommend using either Google Chrome or Firefox to make any edits to your account. Please disable all pop up blockers. Also, make sure that your browser is updated to its most current version.

I can't change my mobile numbers to the Australian format. It constantly comes up saying the number is incorrect and won't let me save anyone to the guest list.

Help!!!!! Because of COVID-19 we changed our wedding date. But guests trying to RSVP for the NEW date are getting a message saying it’s “too late” to RSVP because it’s basing this on the old date. How can I fix it so guests don’t get that message when they try to RSVP to the new date? Thank you

As of today, I am still experiencing the same issues that were said to be fixed. I cannot easily edit the details in the notes section for my wedding day. I could previously center the text and now I cannot.
I have spent 3 days trying to figure out what I was doing wrong and now I learn that this was something the Knot did on purpose. Please change it back. I have spent countless hours in the past few days trying to do make edits that should have taken an hour max. This is quite frustrating.
Also, sometimes the edits I make don't show in the preview view but when I go back and check the editing view I can see the changes. The editing site was more intuitive in prior versions. Please help!
I spend so much time already creating our wedding page but our ceremony and reception location keeps changing automatic. When I type Sorrento, Italy it keeps changing it to my home address. It is not letting me choose my wedding location in Italy. How can I fix this?
The address for my ceremony and reception changed somehow, and they are wildly incorrect (not even in the right state). I updated the information, and now I cannot get either to display on the website at all.
Yes, I agree! I am having the same problem -- it's horrible! I don't want my guests to see the poor formatting. This needs to be fixed.
I've noticed this too! Please can you fix it? The formatting is currently awful and I can't alter it - it's really embarrassing.
When using the Knot website to edit my wedding website, there is not an option to edit the wedding or the other events. It only gives the option to edit the photos. The edit option only shows when I use the app on my phone, making it a pain in the butt. The app version also doesnt allow me to align the text to match the rest of my site.

I am getting an error message when I try to edit my wedding details for my website. I am able to add new events and edit other event details but I cannot save wedding ceremony/reception information. Help!
This isn't an idea... i need it sorted! Our information for two events was central and spaced out, now they all look different. I tried to update them but it won't make any changes. I will NOT be recommending your website to anyone, I wish we had never created it on here.
The address and name of my wedding venue do not show up on the website even though the information was entered on my end. The details tab doesn't work it just shows guest accommodation.
Your auto-filled event locations DO NOT WORK. This has been a nightmare for me for MONTHS! It is glitchy and even when I thought something was entered and displaying correctly, it suddenly changed the street address to somewhere in Florida (I'm getting married in Oregon). This has been a repeated issue for a long time. Disable the feature and just have people type the address.
Right now the albums are displayed without any headings for them. It would be much better to have the choice of displaying the title of each album above the photos. Right now guests looking at the album would have to guess at the context. Displaying album titles is also less work for me creating the website than adding captions to all the individual photos.

It is so difficult to edit events now, I can't add spacing between paragraphs, there's random coding now and I don't know what I'm meant to keep when editing my description.
Please fix the venue field on websites!! The address that autopopulates when filling in my venue info is not correct, so I had to add it as a new one and in doing so, the address will NOT appear on our website no matter what I do! Please fix!!
I was reading through one of your venues, and there is misinformation regarding pricing. Is there an easy way to submit info to update?
I can't seem to find my venue on your search options. How can I request that a venue be added to the list so it can be paired with my knot account?
I’m having a similar issue. I’m not able to click the box even though it’s showing up. When I try to just add my venues info and save it manually, it never saves and actually populates a different address onto the website. Hoping maybe this is just a bug and that it gets resolved soon
