Website Admin Features. Fixes still pending
We are very sorry that our website and guest list features are not all working at 100% right now. We know that many of you have had different issues arise in your account over the past few months, and you continue to be patient with us as we work through each item and our Tech team is able to find a long term solution that will provide a better experience for you and your guests.
These issues are mainly a result of a database transition that, when completed, will make our products more stable and easier to use. We recognize it doesn't feel that way right now, but we're fortunately nearing the end of this transition, and our teams are working urgently to make sure all of you are able to properly manager and edit your event information.
While I don't have an exact date/time for the fixes, we are working on the following:
The Wedding - this section can now only be edited from your main Website Dashboard, not within your Manage Pages (on the Left Nav in Wedding Website). Some couples are also seeing the changes made here are not saving and this is actively being researched.
Ceremony/Reception locations - you may be seeing that either your location is not saving, is saving but then pulls the wrong address, or it saves and you notice a few days later it has now changed. Again, Tech is working on finding a solution that will stick so that your guests know the proper place to go.
Times changing to a.m. or 12 a.m. - There is a fix that will be pushed early this week to help keep the times aligned as entered in all of your events.
Wedding Party - Right now on our new accounts you are not easily able to manage your Wedding Party in the format we provide. The Tech team is still finding a solution that will be pushed out to all new accounts. This is just taking more time. Thanks for your extra patience on this. In the meantime, you can add an extra page and put in your Attendants manually until our formatting is corrected.
Guest List/RSVP inconsistencies - Our Guest List is under a full rebuild and we are almost done with this much needed refresh. Your information entered should now be staying in your guest list manager and as long as guests have been assigned to each of your events, they will be able to RSVP for each event. You can check their event status when you look at your list by All Households instead of the general list that opens when you first visit the page.
Event Order - Right now the site is showing your events in the order they were entered. We know this needs to show chronologically, and until we can get that pushed out in the next month or so, the only option is to remove your events and enter them again in the order they will be hosted. For example, you may want Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, Morning Brunch as your order. This is important: before you delete your events and add them back in, please export a copy of your Guest List, so you can go back in and manually add any RSVP notifications you already received from your guests, as those will not follow you when you enter the Events again.
Photos - You may start seeing a change to how the photos are formatted in your wedding website album. This is in hopes to give your guests the best view of your uploaded photos.
We also know there are issues with photos being uploaded into your events, stories and cover photo pages. I am sorry this fix is not scheduled for early this week, but it is top of mind to our Tech team and they are hoping we will see progress on this much needed refresh very soon. We know this is so important to each and every one of you - and all of this is so very important to us too. We want to make your planning an easy process and we know these past few months have been difficult. Thank you for your understanding and patience. We definitely want the end of this journey to be a better experience for you, for your guests and all other couples using our site.

I added a link within a section on my "Travel" page. Then I decided I wanted to delete it, but I can't. I go to edit the travel idea, delete the link and hit save. The changes don't save. The link is still there.
I try deleting the link and adding two spaces to the "insert link here" field. The link to an actual website disappears but the link button stays around and takes guests to an error page.
Just let me get rid of this link button!
I would delete the whole section, but its impossible to re-order sections once they exist, so deleting the first section of my Travel page would mean I would have to re-do the entire page from the ground up.
I am so frustrated that I decided to use the Knot for my wedding website! Your builder is incredibly hard to use and does not allow for enough customization.
It is glitchy and bad. I can't change my wedding event location to the correct location because it's stuck on something it auto-filled. I can't direct people to our site until this is fixed, and customer service has provided no estimate for when that will happen.
I can't select the correct frame for my cover photo. If I try to use the selector tool, it just zooms in on about 5 pixels of the photo, so I'm just stuck using whatever it auto-selects when you upload.
I hate that you can't control where the text shows up on a cover photo. Based on the engagement photos we have to work with, I'm stuck with text covering someone's face or someone else not visible in mobile view.
If you're unable to customize a single thing about they layout, you need more templates available.
All in all, this is the most frustrating and poorly functioning website builder I've ever used. It is not adequate for anyone with even a tiny bit of web/blog experience, and it's not intuitive for anyone without experience. DO BETTER!
Whenever I try to put in the title and address for my reception venue on the app, it crashes. The autopopulated address location for the venue does not include a proper title for my venue and guests will get lost! PLEASE allow for custom names and addresses for venues on the wedding websites.

Echo information being erased. I typed out long instructions for flights to our wedding - all gone. The website builder has been very buggy. Really regretting going with the Knot for our wedding website.

The website planner erased my venue/reception address and it won't save the new information unless I choose an already pre-filled selction. My wedding is at a house and it obviously isn't listed on their pre-filled locations... This is ridiculous. 8 days before my wedding and all the necessary information is gone!
If I didn't already send out save the dates with me web address on it, I would have switched to zola. To make a change as simple as updating the theme or cover photo takes about 30 tries, if it ever even changes. I am too busy to be spending 15+ minutes to wait for a simple change. It would be one thing if it takes time to save changes, but most of the time the changes don't even take effect EVER. I will not suggest this company to future brides
I've been having this same trouble. I'd finished my site and launched everything, then had to make an update to the rehearsal dinner location and suddenly the entire site is unsearchable and I keep getting reminders to start my website, but everything I put up is still there in my admin panel. It's very frustrating for guests who are just trying to search for us so they can rsvp, but they're told our website doesn't exist.
When I click on a guest's name to see their address information, it automatically overwrites their email address with mine! I'm glad I noticed this before it happened to a lot of my guests. Please fix this. Thank you.

I got a reply (eventually) from the customer services desk on this - took about a week and doesn't really work. They suggest a fix as follows:
"We apologize for the issues you're having while entering your event locations on your wedding website. Our Tech team is aware of the glitch that is preventing these details from being saved, and are diligently working on a fix. We are hopeful that the issue will be resolved soon.
In the meantime, we have a temporary work-around that should allow you to enter your addresses manually while we wait for the permanent fix. We understand this is especially important if your event is coming soon. Instead of entering your event locations in the dedicated address fields, we encourage you to enter the address details manually in the "Event Description" note field. This will also allow you to add any other specific details as well.
Once the glitch with the event locations has been resolved, you'll be able to enter the addresses in the address fields as intended.
We appreciate your patience! Please let us know if we can assist with this process, or if you have any additional questions."
I can't change the theme of the website. I have tried multiple times and it will not change. Additionally, there have been multiple problems adding information to sections. I had to create new sections to make it work. I just want to change the theme of my website and it's impossible. :(

The wedding website will not update. I continually go in to try to remove our reception site and it will not remove from our actual website. I go back in to try to re-save the reception site as blank so we can get details worked out before posting and it won't let me.
Also, even though it seems to be permanently saved as the reception, the ceremony page won't even acknowledge that that same location exits on the map. Getting very frustrated with this site builder.
I want to remove the reception part from "our wedding" from the events.
Any update on fixes? The website is still very buggy. I still cant find the wedding party section and the "Our Wedding" page shows up as "Home" despite what you name it.

Suggestion to prioritize the Wedding Party section as that is a big feature for most weddings. We wasted much time figuring out what was wrong

This is absolutely disappointing. How is anyone to plan their wedding with this site? I have 350 guests and now I have to RSVP on their behalf because they can't seem to do it on the site. I am also unable to make updates. If you can kindly update the website itself with this message it would have been helpful.
I am really disappointed with my experience.
Issues with the Website not creating. Haven't really looked further into customizing our Wedding but can't do much if we can't get past step 1.
Our RSVP is not working at all - when we try to turn it on, it says there was a problem and to re-load the site. We've tried turning on RSVP from different spots (dashboard, events, etc) and nothing works. Invites needs to go out this week and direct guests to RSVP on our wedding website! Please fix the RSVP function ASAP!
We tested it prior to this rebuild and it was working fine, so I think the error is in this new update. We'd really appreciate it if you could fix this!

Just here to add on that the Wedding Party not showing up as an option to edit at all is also affecting my fiance and I. Glad that I was able to find this and know that these issues are being addressed!
I am also having this same problem. My co-worker has was able to get her wedding party to show up but my website does not even give me the option to even add or edit it.
This website is constantly having problems. I have entered in information a dozen times and it is still not showing up on the actual website. And the vendors page on the website doesn't even work.
