Website Admin Features. Fixes still pending
We are very sorry that our website and guest list features are not all working at 100% right now. We know that many of you have had different issues arise in your account over the past few months, and you continue to be patient with us as we work through each item and our Tech team is able to find a long term solution that will provide a better experience for you and your guests.
These issues are mainly a result of a database transition that, when completed, will make our products more stable and easier to use. We recognize it doesn't feel that way right now, but we're fortunately nearing the end of this transition, and our teams are working urgently to make sure all of you are able to properly manager and edit your event information.
While I don't have an exact date/time for the fixes, we are working on the following:
The Wedding - this section can now only be edited from your main Website Dashboard, not within your Manage Pages (on the Left Nav in Wedding Website). Some couples are also seeing the changes made here are not saving and this is actively being researched.
Ceremony/Reception locations - you may be seeing that either your location is not saving, is saving but then pulls the wrong address, or it saves and you notice a few days later it has now changed. Again, Tech is working on finding a solution that will stick so that your guests know the proper place to go.
Times changing to a.m. or 12 a.m. - There is a fix that will be pushed early this week to help keep the times aligned as entered in all of your events.
Wedding Party - Right now on our new accounts you are not easily able to manage your Wedding Party in the format we provide. The Tech team is still finding a solution that will be pushed out to all new accounts. This is just taking more time. Thanks for your extra patience on this. In the meantime, you can add an extra page and put in your Attendants manually until our formatting is corrected.
Guest List/RSVP inconsistencies - Our Guest List is under a full rebuild and we are almost done with this much needed refresh. Your information entered should now be staying in your guest list manager and as long as guests have been assigned to each of your events, they will be able to RSVP for each event. You can check their event status when you look at your list by All Households instead of the general list that opens when you first visit the page.
Event Order - Right now the site is showing your events in the order they were entered. We know this needs to show chronologically, and until we can get that pushed out in the next month or so, the only option is to remove your events and enter them again in the order they will be hosted. For example, you may want Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, Morning Brunch as your order. This is important: before you delete your events and add them back in, please export a copy of your Guest List, so you can go back in and manually add any RSVP notifications you already received from your guests, as those will not follow you when you enter the Events again.
Photos - You may start seeing a change to how the photos are formatted in your wedding website album. This is in hopes to give your guests the best view of your uploaded photos.
We also know there are issues with photos being uploaded into your events, stories and cover photo pages. I am sorry this fix is not scheduled for early this week, but it is top of mind to our Tech team and they are hoping we will see progress on this much needed refresh very soon. We know this is so important to each and every one of you - and all of this is so very important to us too. We want to make your planning an easy process and we know these past few months have been difficult. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Tech has given us the all clear; you should be able to access your wedding website and Guest List Manager and make any necessary adjustment as needed. We really appreciate your patience while they worked through that.
Before you log in again can you please clear cache and cookies and restart your browser. We do recommend using either Google Chrome or Firefox to make any edits to your account. Please disable all pop up blockers. Also, make sure that your browser is updated to its most current version.

My Ceremony and Reception are at the same venue - previously, there was a feature when adding the venue address to my website where i could tick off a box to say the reception was at the same venue and on the website, it showed as "Ceremony & Reception" with the address listed only once. Now, while that 'tick box' is still there, I noticed this feature isn't working. The website shows "Ceremony" then address followed by "Reception" then the address again. Is there a way to get this working? It looks kind of silly as is and nothing I've tried is working.

I'm trying to update my accommodations on my wedding website because my save the dates will be going out this week. I'm on my dashboard or homepage and click wedding website under Planning Tools and my wedding website will NOT load.
I need something fixed so I can get everything ready for my save the dates to go out. I even tried loading the page in Google Chrome instead of Safari because I know Safari doesn't always load everything.
Almost every time I attempt to update something on my website, the updates are not "saved" and are not displayed. This happens on desktop and the app, but almost every time (and more often) with the app. I do not want to enter and reenter and reenter all of my updates every time I view the site. This is a heavily recurring problem and I am not happy about it!
I've been having this exact same issue for MONTHS. Reached out to the Knot and they said they had been working on it...and yet nothing has been resolved. Not sure I trust to use them for a website anymore.
I'm having the same issue! On the desktop platform, I don't have the option to edit the ceremony venue at all, and on the phone app, I can enter it but it doesn't show up. I've added the address multiple times and it keeps disappearing and nothing displays on the website.
Our wedding ceremony venue isn’t posting. It’s not a recognized venue, so our website simply lists nothing under “wedding.” I’ve tried multiple times to submit the information, but the only information that appears is the address for the reception, which is a separate location altogether. I’m not sure how to resolve this issue... perhaps by using a different website manager?
I am wanting to add a picture of the ceremony and reception under the home section of the wedding website. Can you tell me the best way to do this?
Without warning, the website changed my venue address even though when I went to edit it, it showed the correct address. This is not the first time this website has done odd things. It wouldn’t let me turn off the RSVP until I contacted customer service. It changes the address without warning. The mobile app and the desktop page do not communicate well. I keep getting error messages when trying to update my page. The guest list is not very intuitive, nor are we able to sort it. I’m very disappointed with this website.

When I go to update any field, and hit save, the website maker freezes. I have to reload the page and then the update didn't happen.
I am unable to RSVP for a wedding. I've tried for two days. It says your sight is having trouble, try again later. I am not on a mobile device, but a laptop computer.
My guests are unable to RSVP on their mobile devices, only via computer. Most of my guests don't have computers, just mobile devices. This is extremely unprofessional and needs to be fixed with guaranteed dates and times of completion immediately.
Once you add a subsection to your "Travel" page, you can't change its order relative to sections you add later. This is incredibly frustrating because I've had so many issues editing the sections once I create them that sometimes the only way to fix things is to delete the whole section and start over.
Since you can't re-order a section (i.e. add it at the end and then move it back to the top of the page), this means I have had to re-do my whole travel page multiple times.
I added a link within a section on my "Travel" page. Then I decided I wanted to delete it, but I can't. I go to edit the travel idea, delete the link and hit save. The changes don't save. The link is still there.
I try deleting the link and adding two spaces to the "insert link here" field. The link to an actual website disappears but the link button stays around and takes guests to an error page.
Just let me get rid of this link button!
I would delete the whole section, but its impossible to re-order sections once they exist, so deleting the first section of my Travel page would mean I would have to re-do the entire page from the ground up.
I am so frustrated that I decided to use the Knot for my wedding website! Your builder is incredibly hard to use and does not allow for enough customization.
It is glitchy and bad. I can't change my wedding event location to the correct location because it's stuck on something it auto-filled. I can't direct people to our site until this is fixed, and customer service has provided no estimate for when that will happen.
I can't select the correct frame for my cover photo. If I try to use the selector tool, it just zooms in on about 5 pixels of the photo, so I'm just stuck using whatever it auto-selects when you upload.
I hate that you can't control where the text shows up on a cover photo. Based on the engagement photos we have to work with, I'm stuck with text covering someone's face or someone else not visible in mobile view.
If you're unable to customize a single thing about they layout, you need more templates available.
All in all, this is the most frustrating and poorly functioning website builder I've ever used. It is not adequate for anyone with even a tiny bit of web/blog experience, and it's not intuitive for anyone without experience. DO BETTER!
Whenever I try to put in the title and address for my reception venue on the app, it crashes. The autopopulated address location for the venue does not include a proper title for my venue and guests will get lost! PLEASE allow for custom names and addresses for venues on the wedding websites.

Echo information being erased. I typed out long instructions for flights to our wedding - all gone. The website builder has been very buggy. Really regretting going with the Knot for our wedding website.

The website planner erased my venue/reception address and it won't save the new information unless I choose an already pre-filled selction. My wedding is at a house and it obviously isn't listed on their pre-filled locations... This is ridiculous. 8 days before my wedding and all the necessary information is gone!
If I didn't already send out save the dates with me web address on it, I would have switched to zola. To make a change as simple as updating the theme or cover photo takes about 30 tries, if it ever even changes. I am too busy to be spending 15+ minutes to wait for a simple change. It would be one thing if it takes time to save changes, but most of the time the changes don't even take effect EVER. I will not suggest this company to future brides
