Website Admin Features. Fixes still pending
We are very sorry that our website and guest list features are not all working at 100% right now. We know that many of you have had different issues arise in your account over the past few months, and you continue to be patient with us as we work through each item and our Tech team is able to find a long term solution that will provide a better experience for you and your guests.
These issues are mainly a result of a database transition that, when completed, will make our products more stable and easier to use. We recognize it doesn't feel that way right now, but we're fortunately nearing the end of this transition, and our teams are working urgently to make sure all of you are able to properly manager and edit your event information.
While I don't have an exact date/time for the fixes, we are working on the following:
The Wedding - this section can now only be edited from your main Website Dashboard, not within your Manage Pages (on the Left Nav in Wedding Website). Some couples are also seeing the changes made here are not saving and this is actively being researched.
Ceremony/Reception locations - you may be seeing that either your location is not saving, is saving but then pulls the wrong address, or it saves and you notice a few days later it has now changed. Again, Tech is working on finding a solution that will stick so that your guests know the proper place to go.
Times changing to a.m. or 12 a.m. - There is a fix that will be pushed early this week to help keep the times aligned as entered in all of your events.
Wedding Party - Right now on our new accounts you are not easily able to manage your Wedding Party in the format we provide. The Tech team is still finding a solution that will be pushed out to all new accounts. This is just taking more time. Thanks for your extra patience on this. In the meantime, you can add an extra page and put in your Attendants manually until our formatting is corrected.
Guest List/RSVP inconsistencies - Our Guest List is under a full rebuild and we are almost done with this much needed refresh. Your information entered should now be staying in your guest list manager and as long as guests have been assigned to each of your events, they will be able to RSVP for each event. You can check their event status when you look at your list by All Households instead of the general list that opens when you first visit the page.
Event Order - Right now the site is showing your events in the order they were entered. We know this needs to show chronologically, and until we can get that pushed out in the next month or so, the only option is to remove your events and enter them again in the order they will be hosted. For example, you may want Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, Morning Brunch as your order. This is important: before you delete your events and add them back in, please export a copy of your Guest List, so you can go back in and manually add any RSVP notifications you already received from your guests, as those will not follow you when you enter the Events again.
Photos - You may start seeing a change to how the photos are formatted in your wedding website album. This is in hopes to give your guests the best view of your uploaded photos.
We also know there are issues with photos being uploaded into your events, stories and cover photo pages. I am sorry this fix is not scheduled for early this week, but it is top of mind to our Tech team and they are hoping we will see progress on this much needed refresh very soon. We know this is so important to each and every one of you - and all of this is so very important to us too. We want to make your planning an easy process and we know these past few months have been difficult. Thank you for your understanding and patience. We definitely want the end of this journey to be a better experience for you, for your guests and all other couples using our site.

hi! I'm having a backyard reception, since it's not an actually vendor, it's not coming up on the knot or google maps. how do I custom add a vendor?
I am having this exact same problem. I have the wedding party page set to visible, however, when I go to 'your website' to edit the page, it doesn't show up. Very frustrated as I have been trying to figure this out on and off for over two weeks.

cannot open my inbox conversations on my laptop. Also trying to update the date and time on my website does not work! nothing is updating!
Our ceremony is private, but there is no way to remove the word/section "ceremony" from the wedding website. I want to be able to delete that section so that it does not appear on the wedding website.
I cannot for the life of me find how to edit my wedding party. And when I get to the drop down menu, there is not an editing option whatsoever. We've called, emailed and still no answer. Very frustrated and lost.
The address for the venue disappeares and will not stay no matter how many times it is entered....
Great app... well detailed. Though I cant find where to edit my wedding reception... I initially put a wrong one because it was auto filling for me what i didnt want so for the sake of progress i thought i could correct it last. So please please help I need to send it to guests ASAP.
There are HUGE differences between things you can do on the app vs. the website.
For example the guest list on the app you are able to add VIP guests however on the website that option is nowhere.
The budgeting tool: on the app I can add different categories to my budget but on the website there is not option to do so.
I needed to edit my ceremony location: on the website I edited the details a million times but my wedding website never reflected the changes. I made the corrections on my app & they instantly updated.
Customer service has been slow in resolving our issue. We will be adding that to our review. The knot cash fund doesn't even work and getting customer service to provide technical assistance has been horrible.
Can we please get an update?

Hello! This is now my third times reaching out. I am having issues with my wedding website not saving information. After I enabled guest RSVP on my website, both the ceremony and reception information vanished. I've tried to re-add & save the information multiple times via computer and via iso app and nothing..the information just won't save and I have yet to get notified if the website/app is having issues. A lot of my guest are from out of town so I need this information on the website at all times! If this issue isn't resolved soon, I will need to delete my account and use a different company. Please respond ASAP!!!!!

Any update from the tech team? Our wedding isn’t until June and I’m seriously considering a switch to Zola if these issues aren’t resolved soon. This is unacceptable!
We have been unable to edit our "other events" pages under the wedding header for 3 weeks now. Have reached out to tech 3 times about it with no response. We REALLY need to update some information for guests with our wedding coming up in a couple weeks. Like REALLY need to be able to edit it....

This is getting ridiculous. I’ve been waiting for a month to be able to fix the reception address on my wedding website and all I get from customer service is that the tech team is working diligently. If it really takes your tech team this long to fix something for such a big company maybe you need to hire a new tech team!! If my website wasn’t already on my save the dates I would have been long gone! And I think A LOT of brides and grooms would be too. Get it together!! This is beyond unprofessional. I will never recommend The Knot to anyone on the future.

I’ve been back and forth with customer service and our website is still not fixed. This is very frustrating as our wedding is 40 days away. Ive been told for 3 weeks now that the tech team is working on my issue but it’s still not fixed! One of the reps fixed the issue but is now saying they can no longer assist being it’s been escalated to the tech team. This is the most horrible experience ever during a very important time of our lives. If there was away I could use a different site I would definitely do so but this website has been posted on our save the days and invitation for our guest.
Our address has a comma after the numeric information on the address for the ceremony and reception (e.g., 1400, 21st Ave). There is no way to edit this information on the website under the "Our Wedding" tab.

The least you could do is respond to some of these comments! We are all wondering if there are any updates regarding these issues. We as brides and grooms all placed our trust in your site when planning our weddings and you are seriously letting us all down. Fix the issues!!
