What's your idea for The Knot?

  1. Personalize for same *** couples

    Over all I love what the Knot has done for wedding planning. I worked for the Men's Wearhouse for 11 years and now am planning my own wedding. However it is disappointing when i go into my check list and see it tell me to preserve my dress. I understand that Gay Marriages are newer to many in the industry but lets be realistic. This did no happen last week. I see where some of the site has been made generic Like your party... your partners party... but if you are going to offer advise is should be tailored to…

      You are definitely right here. This has not just happened overnight and while The Knot has made many strides to address love from all couples, we still have a long way to go. The personalized experience based on your account settings is something we would all like to see put in place overnight. But alas, this is just taking time. We continue to listen to our members and add features they are requesting, and this is definitely on the list of things to come. I am not sure how far out it will be, but we are listening and we definitely want to make this a tool every couple can fall in love with along the line.

    • Add photos to reviews

      I'd love to have the ability for members to add photos to their reviews. I'd love to showcase some of the work of my really awesome vendors. At the same time, if a member is saying how awful something looked, it would be good to see a photo in order to determine if I think it's as bad as they're claiming.
