Thank you for reaching out. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. and Thank you for being a representative for so many other couples. Yes, your story is the same as so many other couples. DIY, everyday budget, older (than the 20 somethings) and still wanting to have a grand celebration. We do hear you and see where you are coming from.

We are definitely making an effort to broaden the scope of our diversity on the site in many ways. The diverse nature of our couples from their race to finances to style and much more. Our Marketing team is taking this seriously and we hope that in the future you will see more stories that talk to a couple – just like you.

I encourage you to submit your photos to our Real Weddings section. This is truly where we get a lot…

We are having a small wedding, around 25 ppl at the ceremony and about 100 ppl at the reception. We are also remodeling our house and trying to pay off credit card debt. So we don't have money for a traditional wedding. Our plan is to have our guests contribute to the wedding in place of buying gifts... i.e. my future sister in law will be making the cake and hosting the ceremony in her new sunroom, my brother will be buying the beer for the reception, and my best friend and maid of honor is buying my wedding dress. Since so much of this wedding will be DIY, I would like to be able to make DIY lists. Such as snack options I could assign to guests that I know can cook and want to contribute.. or a list of bouquet options, or dress styles to consider, or different decorations for the ceremony to consider. Kind of Pinterest-esque but more of a list with notes and pictures.
