What's your idea for The Knot?

  1. Filters for dress browsing- make it so that you can select more than one search option in each search category

    It would be great if when browsing dresses, we could select more than one parameter for example price- I would like to see all dresses from $500-$1200 but as it is I can only look at dresses from 500-799 or whatever it is. For all parameters it would be great to select more than one option within a category. Thanks! :D

  2. I'd like to be able to seperate my guests into day guests and evening guests

    It would be good to be able to see who has confirmed for the day or evening, rather than seeing them altogether.

  3. I just tried the "request quote" button for several venues and found a bug.

    The prepopulated value in the datepicker is not valid.

    Steps to reproduce:

    Open TheKnot while signed into account.
    Go To Venues + Receptions -> Wedding Reception Venues.
    Open a venue.
    Click request quote.
    Click in the "Wedding Date" box
    Click outside the wedding date box (but still in the popup so that the Send Message popup does not go away).

    Expected results: Date is confirmed, everything works, and messages can be sent.

    Actual Results: Red error saying "Wedding Date is required" and an inability to Send Message

    Workaround:
    Click "My Knot"
    Click Edit Date
    Select date
    Copy Date to clip…

  5. [Fashion] PLEASE add a "wedding dress color" search option!

    Like many other brides, I won't be wearing a white gown for my wedding (and I therefore won't be using The Knot to search for wedding gowns, as there seems to be no way to find dresses that aren't white). I'd be thrilled to find this option in the future!

  7. [Vendors] I would like to be able to send an image in my messages when replying back to inquiries.

    I would like to be able to send photos or pages/images to people who are inquiring about my services. Is there not a way to do this?

  8. [Favorites] My favorites did not transfer like I would expect them to.

    I checked your FAQs about favorites. I want to clean out the clutter, but any of the old favorites that I click on only says:

    " Sorry, it looks like that page has gone missing.

    Please use the navigation above to browse wedding topics, or go back to The Knot homepage.

    Need help? Please check out our frequently asked questions, or send us your feedback."

    Can we please get some tools to delete favorites? (Or boards, for that matter--looks like the "Things I Love" board and the board I made on the previous site is overlapping.)

    Hi and thank you so much for your feedback on Favorites!

    The issue with the favorites opening a broken link is known and we are working on a fix

    We are also planning on feature updates which include being about to batch edit your favorites. Currently, if you are able to access a favorite, you should be able to un-click the heart.

    We will also support board creation soon to help you get organized.

  9. [Local Vendors] I want to view more than one photo at a time on vendor pages.

    When I'm looking at pictures of venues, I'd like a way to see more than one at once, instead of having to continually hit the next arrow. This helps when quickly trying to determine if a venue could be a potential "favorite."

    We are constantly working on improving The Knot Beta and plan to make improvements to the vendor photo viewing experience.

    Please send along any ideas you have for viewing multiple photos at a time – do you have a favorite format or website that displays photos in a way that you think we should consider?

  10. Guest List Contact Information

    First - LOVE this feature!!!
    A couple of things:
    1. It would be great if the guest we sent the link to can add their family member as well.
    2. The app is able to categorize the contact information but the website cannot which is strange to me.
    3. Can we send save the date?
    4. Does the wedding invites have an option for them to add the name of their guests?

  11. Instagram Update - Hashtag Albums No Longer Working

    On December 11, 2018, Instagram will stop auto-importing photos into Wedding Websites. You'll still be able to upload your Instagram photos directly to your site. If you created an album with a hashtag, it will instead appear as a link for guests to view your photos on Instagram.

    We are very sorry for if this causes issue on how your website is already set up. Unfortunately, we were just informed that Instagram is making this change on their side and we do not have a way to work around this.

  12. Did you email TheBump last week?

    Dear Bump Members,

    We recently discovered that part of our email system was down for about 10 days, which resulted in the loss of many incoming emails. We apologize if your recent email has not been addressed by our Customer Experience Team yet. Our Tech team was able to resolve the issue with our email system earlier this week, and we have recovered a list of email addresses that tried to contact us during this down time.
