  1. I was disappointed to see that the wedding party options on your website creation page don’t allow you to create your own roles

    We should be allowed to create our own wedding party roles instead of using the prepopulated option. Can you include a blank field? These are traditional roles and very gendered!

    Hello,

    Thank you for submitting your idea! The wedding party title option is changeable if an option is not in the drop down window. All you have to do is remove the current title and type in a new title.

    I'm having issues - I can go to my external website from the knot.com I cannot manage the website. The error is saying "404

  3. More Gender inclusive

    The Knot is a great tool--lots of details and having it electronic is very helpful. It is very heterosexual focused. There are wedding website templates with same *** couples, but when you get to other tools such as planning your timeline or day of events, it's all about "bridesmaids" and "groomsmen". I would work to be more aware of gendering people, especially in a wedding setting where everything is very gendered. For example, rather than "bride" or "groom" you could also include "spouse" as an option. Instead of "bridal party" it could be "wedding party".

    We definitely hear what you are saying. We hear this from Dad’s on The Bump as well, and we are actively looking at how we can adjust our systems in the future so that gender and role are taken into more consideration in the planning process for weddings and babies.   4. Unendorse bigoted vendors

    The knot was a fantastic tool for planning my wedding, however I request that you remove your endorsement of stylist Abby Hartsell for her bigoted refusal of service to a gay couple, as well as endorsements of any other vendors that discriminate based on ****** orientation. I will advise others to find other sources of planning resources until she is removed.

Recommendations for vendors actually come from other members that have left reviews for vendors based on their past experiences.     I am so excited to send this email – the center align is now fixed and working in your wedding website admin pages. YAY!! You have all been so patient – and have truly helped us by providing all the details about how this was happening in your account. This was a big help in us finding a solution and getting it pushed out.

  6. Newlywed Fund disappearing from view on Wedding Website

    Great news! We received word today that the disappearing Newlywed Fund profiles has been resolved. A refresh was pushed and we trust that all of you are now seeing your Newlywed Fund when viewing your wedding website as a guest.

    Customs URL just redirects you to the following URL: http://guest-api.guestservices.theknot.com/us/...............

    Should the custom URL you pay for not be visible at all times as your navigate the webpage?

    Custom URL also seem to cause issue with the RSVP function.

  8. RSVP Email Confirmation not Landing

    We recently became aware that some of our couples are not receiving their RSVP emails, or the emails are very delayed. We have notified our Tech team and they are working to get this issue corrected. We are so very sorry for this inconvenience. In the meantime, please do know that you can view all of your guests within the guest list manager under the All Guests list, and their responses will be noted there.

  11. All of my vendors are not listed on here

    None of the vendors I have hired are listed on this website. I would like to be able to add vendors, or request a vendor to put their information on the website. Super frusterating that I keep getting asked to add vendors, and yet there is no way to add who I want to add.

    If you’d like your vendor to become a local vendor that appears on The Knot website please ask them to sign up at The Knot for Local Businesses – https://partnerssignup.theknot.com/. The link will walk your vendor through the process of getting their business up on the site.

    Or they can send us an email at theknotprohelp@theknot.com. Tell us a bit about the business, service area, and how we can contact them (phone and email preferred). A local sales rep will be contacting the vendor within 24-48 business hours.

    Our application should support other language typing input, so you should be able to type in your native language and have it appear on your wedding website. While most section titles can be edited, there are certain sections that you will not be able to customize (such as RSVP). Unfortunately our site is unable to support special characters at this time.We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are always adding new options and hopefully this will be one that will be added in the near future.

  14. Why can't I add my own custom to-do items to the checklist?

    It would be very helpful to be able to type in my own unique tasks to add to the checklist rather than choosing from your predetermined items.

  16. Is there a way to add to already made households

    So I imported couples through excel. I did not add family's of people, so I am going back in now and adding children (mouths to feed) to each household. Unfortunately I am not seeing a way to open a household and add members to each household. To do that, I have to add a new person, then go in and edit them to add them to a pre-existing household. Also had people with the same names but at different addresses, because they are different people, but it merged them and I had to go back and find who it deleted…

    Currently, you are doing this the only way the system will allow it. We do not have a clean way to add people to an existing household in bulk. This is a big ask though, and we really are hoping that we can find a solution to this in the near future.

    When you visit the Guest List Manager on desktop, we do offer the ability to import your list from a spreadsheet or your contacts file on your PC. I hope you were already able to find this, but if not, let us know and we can help show this to you.

    Hi There! When I uploaded my bridal party my maid of honor is showing up at the bottom of the list. Is there anyway to reorganize the list of bridesmaids so when they appear in those circles my MOH is at the top?

  19. Delete Guests in bulk

    I uploaded a an updated list thinking it would overwrite my old one. No i have over 400 guests and my only option is to delete them one by one. Make a button to delete the entire list or be able to select more than guest and delete in bulk.

  20. Have an option for us that requires our guests to enter their email, phone, and/or address

    Can we have the option that requires our guests to enter their email, address, or/and phone number in order to RSVP?

    It looks like someone who we don't know submitted an RSVP and we have no way of contacting them; also, we would like our guest's address/phone number/email in case we need to contact them.

    We have made great efforts to make sure our RSVP tool is going to work for our members and for your events. There are a few things to keep in mind before you set up your website with your RSVP enabled. Let’s go through these together:
    Secure RSVP vs Open RSVP:
    Secure RSVP gives you a privacy option that will ONLY ALLOW NAMED GUESTS to RSVP on your wedding website. You will need to add all names to your Guest List Manager, and the guest will have to type in their name exactly as you have it listed. For example: If you enter Michael Rogers as a guest and he tries to RSVP as Mike Rogers, he will get an error.
