  1. Song Request Tab

    Guests can request a song by typing in the artist and name or just link to YouTube. Just throwing out an idea.

    We have a great page on your wedding website called Guest Book – but this can be renamed and used to collect songs (or other fun ideas for any reception). Many of our guests have used this to get the music ideas flowing in from their guests.

  2. RSVP - error when guest submits their reply

    Thank you for your patience. We have a known issue that is being fixed today. Many of you have let us know that when your guests try to submit an RSVP they are seeing an error, however, the information is still coming over to you and it is also duplicating their multiple attempts as new entries in your Guest List Managers. So sorry for this frustration.

    We have found the bug in the system and now we are working on pushing a fix out as soon as possible. We hope you will see it fixed by end of day, but…

  3. Site is not working - Going slow - Wedding website is down

  4. Ability to email some/all guests

    I would like the ability to email some or all my guests. I want the ability to send emails to update guests on parking, weather, or whatever I need to at the last minute in case they are not checking the website.

    I also want to be able to email select guests only (e.g.- those who have RSVP'd "yes", those RSVP'd "no", those who did not respond with their addresses, etc. I should be able to select names and email them through the website.

    What's the point of having a place for emails in the guest manager if we cannot…

  5. Photos not uploading.

    Still cannot upload photos. When I try to upload new photos, it has all of them listed with check boxes, then I click add. Then nothing happens. I tried incognito mode on chrome and other computers. What is the issue?

    Hi there,

    I’m sorry to hear that you are having issues uploading photos to your wedding website.

    Even though we do not have a size limit on photo uploads, we have found it’s best to follow these guidelines:

    If you are having an issue uploading photos using a mobile device, try using a desktop pc and only use Firefox for your browser. Chrome may also work, but it can be persnickety as well.

    We do limit the albums to 5, this includes Facebook, Instagram, and Shared albums.

    Try to limit each album to 20 – 30 photos. More than this number and you might find difficultly adding more photos. Some couples have added more than 30 photos, but this is a prime number for you to aim your limit.

    It’s best to add photos that are 5 MB or less. Typical images that you see on websites are roughly 1024…

  6. Alphabetize Guest List

    Please allow an option for guest list on the website to be alphabetized. I am constantly scrolling up and down trying to find a guest's name.
    Suggestion: Indent the +1s under the main guest's name so that they're easily identifiable, instead of them lining them up with everyone else's.

  7. Ability to hide the wedding date on website until you have a date picked out

    Like other wedding planning and registry websites, The Knot should have the ability to hide the wedding date on their website until a date is chosen. For my engagement party, I created a website with my registry information so guest would be able to navigate themselves there. Unfortunately, The Knot requires you to to pick a wedding date for your website even if you haven't picked a date! Very confusing for guests!

  8. With the upgraded guestlist, you don't have the option to view accepted/declined RSVPs at a glance.

    Adding the option, like there was before to see a running total of accepted and declines and invited numbers for each event that has been created.

    I'm trying to register a domain name, and I keep getting a payment error after trying three separate credit cards.
    Is there a reason its not going through?

    Due to the issue, it caused your credit card to declined, reassure you will not be charge for the declined order(s). The pending authorization you’re seeing now will drop off in a few days, based on the banks policies.

    Now that the issue is fixed, you’re more than welcome to purchase your domain.

  11. RSVP button not working

    The RSVP button on our website is no longer working! Tried different browsers & computers. Also tried turning RSVP functionality off and on. Any ideas?

    Our Tech team has just reported that the issues with our RSVP feature have been fixed. Please have your guests try to submit their RSVPs again, and let us know if you hear of any lingering issues.

  12. Couple Knot Wedding Website Editing

    Both my fiance and I created Knot accounts. I've been tracking almost everything on my account, but he took charge of putting together the wedding website (which is already printed on the invitations at this point, even if they haven't been sent yet). I'd like to be able to link our accounts so we both have access to the website editing features, so when I want to update a menu item or something I don't have to get him to log in and do it!

    Thank you for being a valued member of The Knot – The Nest – The Bump!

    Currently, our accounts are only able to have one login email account. We trust that if you want to share the planning information with your co-registrant you will be able to share your email and password information with them as well.

    As a note – some of our members have created a ‘wedding only’ email account so they don’t clutter up their regular inbox during the wedding planning process. This might be a great option to think about so you can both have access to the incoming emails and the account information. If you do create a new email address (gmail and hotmail are great for this), you can then log into your account and go to Account Settings/Account Management to change your email address on your current account.

  13. Address Export

    When I export my guest list, the address lines, city, state, ZIP, and country all export into the same cell. I wish these remained separate fields, so I could upload the excel document into my invitation template.

    Thank you for visiting! When exporting your Guest List Manager, the addresses are broken into 6 different cells. The addresses are no longer exported onto one line, but multiple lines. See examples below:

    Street Address 1
    Street Address 2 (Unit/Apt#)
    City
    State/Province
    Zip/Postal Code
    Country

  14. Photos - not uploading very well

    We are aware that this weekend there was a bigger issue with photos not being able to upload on your wedding website. Tech is looking into this today for us. They recently fixed the connection between your photos and Facebook so we are verifying that this isn't residual issue.

    We will send an email out to every one once a solution has been found and you can try to upload photos again.

    Great news!! Our dynamo Tech team was able to find the problem – and the solution! YAY! Photo uploading should be good to go for you on your website.

    Please clear your cache/cookies/browser history and start by logging on a fresh browser. If you don’t want to wait to clear history, try an incognito window on Chrome (avoids all cookies) and log into your account this way. We always suggest Chrome or Firefox when editing your website.

    We just received word that the Amazon registry issues have been fixed. YAY! Thank you for your patience.

    You should be able to add your Amazon registry by finding it in our system or adding it manually to your account. You will also see that your lists are again updating every 2-3 days with any new items added or removal of purchased items.

  17. Meal count summary on mobile site or app

    Right now I can't seem to find a way to view meal option totals on the app or on the mobile site- only on the full version of the website. For planning on the go, this is inconvenient. Would love to see this feature please!

  18. The Guest List Manager was an awful experience for me. It was very confusing. In theory ANYONE who got onto my site could have RSVped

    More than half of my guests entered their name and hit RSVP. There was no way of assuring that it was the same name I entered. This created a lot of doubles for me.There was no way of creating a file of just the RSVP yes replies to print into a file.
    In addition ..... ANYONE, uninvited guests, or total strangers who gained access to our wedding site could have RSVPed. Apparently it was possible for my guests to add whomever they wished. I had no way of controlling it on my end. Hopefully I did not miscount >:(
