  1. Kids on Guest List

    It would be great to be able to mark which guests are kids. When providing numbers to caterers, they often have a discounted price for kids 12 and under, 9 and under, or 5 and under. Being able to keep track of that easier on the Knot would be awesome! Overall the guest list manager is great though.

  2. Options for Same *** Couples

    I love how the Knot makes known they support same-*** couples! I am utilizing the checklist and budgeter and noticing that the times identified in those tools are for hetero couples. I think it would be a great idea to be able to customize your profile for what kinds of outfits you and your fiance will be wearing so that can be reflected in the tools. This will truly make the Knot more friendly for LGBTQ+ couples getting married!

  3. Add to the checklist manually

    I would love to be able to add my own things to the checklist and not just be stuck using the predetermined ones. I find myself having too many checklists when having it all in the app would be very helpful.

  4. Add options for weddings from other cultures

    I find it very discouraging as a person planning a South Asian Muslim wedding. There are a total of 5 halal vendors listed in New York City and there are no options to plan for a Haldi ceremony and Mehendi ceremony. I think that this website should add options for weddings that follow other cultures seeing as my website and theme is so bland and boring without the option. I want to be excited to plan with the Knot, but this issue is definitely not helping my experience.

  5. a option to mark as appt booked

    Its hard to track on the inquiries would be great if you could mark someone as having an appointment and then also have a reason for archiving too like booked, out of budget, not responding, scam etc

  6. Make Place Cards

    Since the guest list tool has the name of the guest and meal option, it would be nice if we could just pay The Knot to make place cards. Just add a Table tab and we can enter the table numbers we want and when we're ready we can just send them off to be printed with the First & Last name, Table number and Meal Option.

  8. Babies on a guest list

    It would be great if there were an option for a guest list to mark guests that are under a certain age and you can keep track of every head without needing to budget for meals or seats.

  9. Option to Delete Registry Drop Down Menu

    On my wedding website, I would like to take away the drop down menu that appears when you hover over the "Registry" section and ONLY have a link to the registry. I want guests to go to the main registry page only (at least first) and I feel like they might skip that whole page if they think they have to select one of the options listed in the drop down menu (think - old people).   11. Guest List

    At the top of the guest list where it lists the number of yes, no, and not responded, it would be helpful if you could click those and get a filtered list (ie. click on "not responded" and be able to easily print the names that need to be contacted).
    Also the export function sucks. It keeps downloading some crazy format that has everything all jumbled up. Not helpful to send to my mom! Please create an option to download as PDF.

  12. Sort lists consistently

    The guest list does not consistently sort the results. For example, sorting a column by 'RSVP' multiple times returns differently ordered results based on UI state. As a corollary, the filter input can update this state as well, returning a new order on change. To resolve this issue, I have found that on every .sort(), first sorting data sets by create time (or any UID) then sorting by the user assigned column fixes this issue.

  13. Seating chart builder

    Would be great to have a seating chart builder built in, I noticed Wedding Wire has one and if a new bride-to-be was comparing features that would be an easy sway.

  14. Hair and makeup timeline

    The suggested timeframe for booking hair and makeup is way off. I have been in the hair industry for 20 years and we have always booked a year in advance. I’m noticing more problems due to Brides following the suggested 3-4 months in advance timeframe. Please correct.

  17. I want to add another map that shows close up access to the site, but it's not an option. How do I add?

    I can't seem to add a second map showing details on where to park, and how to get to the specific part of the park where my event will happen. options to add such details would benefit out of town guests not familiar with the area. Please add options to add more than one map.

  18. Not to wait 30 days before the wedding to have a time. Just ridiculous.

    Time of a wedding, ect. should be done when they book a venue. Not 30 days from the event. Just ridiculous.

  19. Improvements for the guest list

    The guest list information is a nightmare. If there is a guest, and that guest's plus one has a known name, and we enter it, those two names should be the only two allowed to be "searched for" and RSVP'd for instead of me having to check and recheck the guest list every time someone RSVPs. It just accepts everyone's RSVP and adds them as new guests instead of going off the list you have already created. Double, no, TRIPLE the work and a lot of frustration.   20. Stop recommending venues if user has chosen

    If I've already chosen a venue, and added the vendor to my Vendor's list, why do you continue to recommend venues to me? Logic should be in place so that the next, or which vendor I have not yet booked, should surface. I'd hate to choose a venue, and then have a better one, or one I didn't see the first time around, be recommended to me and then feel like maybe I didn't exhaust all my options.
