  1. Destination Weddings, you don't have PR as an option, you should! At least San Juan

    Hey! My family and My fiance's is in PR. We would love some venues from there to help us plan everything better. you should definitely consider adding these option to your website.

    • Knot DB/UI Updates

      Whatever updates you are making behind the scenes are being implemented too quickly and before proper testing has been done. Your app and website is almost unusable at times giving so many errors. Also you are phasing out old UI's and replacing them with new versions that have half of the capability.

      When people begin to lose faith in your services you will start to lose your user base. These are peoples weddings, they are stressful enough without having to worry about a site you sent 100's of your guests a link to....

        I really am glad you took the time to send us a note. We are definitely making some great changes around here – all the time – and yet, we want our product to work well for everyone. I can tell you, as you have likely guessed, the error you sent over will be fixed when you clear your cache/cookies. As someone working on their wedding website, you the Admin, are going to run into this much more often than a guest will when they just visit your website URL.

        I always suggest to our couples that they clear cache/cookies weekly when in the busy time of planning their wedding. While this might seem like a lot, it will keep the pages clear and clean for you. I also would want to suggest that you use one browser brand for your Admin work and another browser brand to test…

      • Add a feature so a vistor to website can text message the site to their phone

        There should be a button or feature on the personalized sites so vistors can text message a short link to their cell phones for easy retrieval.

        • I'm unhappy with my photo being stretched on the desk top version, but fine on the phone version. Please use the same proportions for both!

          Please use the same proportion for the main photos between the desktop version (super stretched out - width wise) and the phone version. Or allow us to upload a "banner" type photo along with a main photo. I don't like to see myself and my fiance all stretched out like that!

          • vowel renewal ceremonies

            Information targeted toward vowel renewal ceremonies would be really helpful as the planning is much different. For example I am looking for a ceremony location that will be for a small intimate crowd rather than the large wedding we had 10 years ago.

            • Additional post-wedding checklist items

              I used the checklist while planning my wedding and it was a helpful resource during the planning process. However, I found the post-wedding checklist items to be incredibly lacking. There was plenty of information about changing your name (which I didn't do!) and the other items (preserving your wedding gown, reviewing vendors) are fine suggestions but not really necessary. The checklist fails to mention important things like health insurance -- most health plans only give you 30 days from your wedding date to add a spouse. More practical options would be appreciated!

              • Desktop Budgeter Improvements

                The Budgeter is an awesome tool, and I like how the mobile app gives you category subtotals as well as a over/under budget total. This should be available on the desktop version of the Knot website, too! It would be even better to have an interactive pie chart report available like in Mint.com. I hope these changes will be a standard feature in both the mobile app and the desktop website soon.

                • What defines a "party" or "party leader" under the GLM page? Nowhere is it explained.

                  Please define what is meant by the terms "party" and "party leader" in the GLM. And what does the statement that all +1 invites need to be a party leader. Totally confused.

                    Thank you for asking this question. I also agree it can be a bit confusing. We are looking forward to actually changing this in our new Guest List update this summer – so I can tell you to watch for that.

                    But for now, Party Leader is basically the head of household for that group of guests. For example… If you invite Uncle Bob and Aunt Suzi and their two children, then Uncle Bob may be the Party Leader. This way you can sort the list (after you export the list) by the Party Leader to be reminded that he had 4 people in his party. This is helpful when you start looking at sending invitations and doing seating charts.

                    We hope that in the future we can use Household as our key word and I believe it will make much more sense.

                  • Provide ability to block a conversation in the inbox

                    We contacted a vendor and had a few messages back and forth. Then we decided on a different vendor and politely informed them that we did not need their services any more. I don't know if they missed that message from us or were ignoring it, but they continued messaging us over and over, almost like spamming us. It would be helpful if there was "block" button or a "spam" flag, like in an email inbox.

                    • Editting the top menu for RSVP

                      I like the choice to have an RSVP option, but I only want the option to RSVP to a Sunday brunch. When guests go onto my website, I wish the Top menu could say "Brunch RSVP" or be able to change it to that rather than just "RSVP". I am worried my guests will get confused and try to RSVP to the wedding on the website when I prefer for them to mail it in.

                        I know you probably dont have enough incentive to provide keyboard shortcuts (though that would be fantastic...) but PLEASE just make it so i can add all guests at once!

                            • Filters for dress browsing- make it so that you can select more than one search option in each search category

                              It would be great if when browsing dresses, we could select more than one parameter for example price- I would like to see all dresses from $500-$1200 but as it is I can only look at dresses from 500-799 or whatever it is. For all parameters it would be great to select more than one option within a category. Thanks! :D

                                  • App freezes / closes every time I use a filter

                                    We have heard from a few members that their Planner app continues to freeze and close down any time you use the venue filter feature. We are very sorry that is happening and we are definitely continuing to investigate so we can get a fix pushed out as soon as possible.                                       • Photos showing as white boxes

                                        Currently reported bug on wedding websites: Photo preview squares showing as white boxes instead of photo previews.

                                          Disclaimer: I'm a bride. But I've been browsing the articles intended for grooms, knowing that my fiance would be open to reading them if I sent them to him, and I've honestly been pretty surprised by the tone in which most of them are written. There are way too many references to "how to earn points" with the bride-to-be during wedding planning so "you can doze off to the rest," there was the obnoxious term "ball and chain" in one, and reminding the groom to "take it like a man" and not to be a "loser."
