What's your idea for The Knot?

LGBT Friendly Vendors - Add icon and filter for Vendor Search

I am not asking for more inclusive same-*** language like the other planned suggestion, I am asking for your vendor pages to have an icon, like a rainbow heart or flag, in the Details section where the prices are mentioned showing that the vendor is LGBT friendly. There should also be a LGBTQA+ friendly filter for any vendor search that automatically brings up vendors that are LGBT friendly.

Thank you.

I also am searching for a way to filter results. I've already faced rejection with vendors. Spare future couples the lectures and judgments from non-LGBT friendly vendors and make this process more stress-free. If they don't serve LGBT couples, I don't even want it to show up as an option (cause it's not an option). Thank you.

I've had a hard time wedding planning for myself and my bride to be as we are two brides....It would be extremely helpful if there could be a feature added that since I have set both my settings and my fiancees settings to "bride" that it could populate the checklist, budget, and planning aspect of the site with relevant items.

I've gotten annoyed too many times to really want to continue to deal with this much longer. For a company that prides itself on being LGBT friendly it's wedding planning feature isn't.

Hello! I’m loving the LGBTQ+ badging; that really helps. What’s missing is a filter option for vendor search. It’d be a lot easier to look through only vendors that have the badge. So I agree with above!

Don't go to The INN at St John's in Plymouth Michigan, they denied my Brother and his partner from getting married/reception at their establishment

Very important - no one wants to be accosted when they call vendors. Wedding planning should be about enjoying the journey to the wedding, not dreading calling vendors because they might react negatively and harass the grooms or brides. It would also be useful if other brides and grooms, after their wedding, could mark vendors as LGBTQA friendly. The other way to do this would maybe have vendors report it themselves?

Hi, it'd be great if you could search for gay friendly local vendors! Unfortunately all the vendors on your site are not comfortable to providing services for same *** weddings.
