Photos not uploading.
Still cannot upload photos. When I try to upload new photos, it has all of them listed with check boxes, then I click add. Then nothing happens. I tried incognito mode on chrome and other computers. What is the issue?
I’m sorry to hear that you are having issues uploading photos to your wedding website.
Even though we do not have a size limit on photo uploads, we have found it’s best to follow these guidelines:
If you are having an issue uploading photos using a mobile device, try using a desktop pc and only use Firefox for your browser. Chrome may also work, but it can be persnickety as well.
We do limit the albums to 5, this includes Facebook, Instagram, and Shared albums.
Try to limit each album to 20 – 30 photos. More than this number and you might find difficultly adding more photos. Some couples have added more than 30 photos, but this is a prime number for you to aim your limit.
It’s best to add photos that are 5 MB or less. Typical images that you see on websites are roughly 1024 × 768 or 1280 × 1024 with a 72 ppi resolution. This will keep the photos in the KB file size and will guarantee a better result in trying to upload your photos. You cannot upload a photo that is larger than 30 MB into a photo album on your wedding website. If you received photos from your photographer, likely they are large files, intended for printing instead of uploading. You will want to save a copy of these files and resize the copy down before uploading to your site.
Also, consider the connection to the internet that you have while uploading your photo. The slower the upload speed, the longer it will take for your photos to upload to your albums. Please be patient during this process.
If you are viewing your site on an iOS device many times the photos will come up upside down or sideways. They will be viewed normally on a PC in your testing. You can fix this by opening your photo file. Saving a snipit or new version of the photo under a different name and then uploading that new version fresh. We are hoping to find an overall fix for this issue in the upcoming months.
These are rough guidelines but seem to work for most of our couples. If you feel like you have another issue going on, please let me know and I would be happy to help you.
Have a wonderful day and enjoy your planning!
I am having the same issue. It stopped working about a month ago. Only instagram photos load and the quality is SO BAD. It's too late to switch websites because we already printed our wedding invitations. the Knot - WHERE YOU AT GET IT FIXED!
Same here. It's been happening for days now. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I don't think we can blame the web browser or internet anymore. Every solution given has been attempted multiple times buy many people. Is it possible there is a bug in the site itself?
I am having the same issue as everyone else. I have been trying for over 2 hours with every solution given and nothing!!
I am having the same issue. I initially uploaded a picture for the cover photo of our website and it worked fine, when I wanted to edit the photo and change it, now it is not letting us upload the new one. it is very frustrating, it just shows a blank page and now our photo is no longer showing up on the front page of our wedding website.
I am having this as well and it is really frustrating. Is there an official solution to this? It seems ridiculous to have this issue affecting so many people going on for so long.
I am having this same issue as well. When I originally made the website about a month and a half ago, I was able to upload a cover photo. Went to try and change it today and am unable to load the new one and now the old one is gone. Been trying to figure this out for over an hour. This really needs to be fixed!!

I'm also having the same issue.
It lets me upload a photo, but when I click add, it is not there anymore...
Can you please resolve this issue?
My cover photo isn't uploading either. I have tried Chrome + Firefox with no luck. Any updates on how to fix this?
Hi! - I'm having the same issues as well! I tried using my Mac and then switched to a PC, tried Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox and none worked. I can drag and drop the photos and see them in the upload box, but when I hit "add", nothing appears.
Soooo I had some success- it still took some time but I used Chrome and what I would do is upload a couple of photos, hit ADD, and then switch to another tab (sit there for a couple of seconds and then return to the KNOT's page and the photos I chose would appear. WEIRD I know!

After reading this answer, I tried uploading a photo that was 1.64 MB it still won't work. I've been trying to do this for over an hour on 2 different computers. Has anyone actually been able to upload photos recently to their wedding website?
I am having the same problem. I did upload some initially but now I cant upload any!
This needs to be fixed! I've been uploading photos one photo at a time. I have physically timed and each photo has taken about 3-10 minutes. I've tried different browsers as well as different Internet connections. Now it won't let me upload images at all. This is so frustrating! I've been trying to upload photos for over a WEEK now!
Are you going to fix this? It is not letting us upload photos the way we should be able to. When I do it, it will maybe upload two or three but I cant get it to do anymore

I am glad I read this because I have been using Safari to upload on my MacBook but it doesn't work. I have a picture uploaded on my iPhone to the knot app. I figured I would see that same photo on the website from my laptop? I will try opening Firefox and uploading it that way.
HI there - I also can't upload pictures at all - same problems as the above comment. I switched computers and tried it on a PC with the suggestions in the comment, but still it wont work
