A notification when guests with duplicate names are being imported into the guest list.
A "detected" notification for when guests with duplicate names are being imported into the guest list. It took me a while to figured out why 3 guests were missing in the GLM from my csv sheet. Allow guests with duplicate names.

This is actually the most frustrating thing I've done in a while. We have 341 guests SEVERAL with the same first and last name and the program just deletes duplicates without notification EVEN THOUGH they have different addresses. Now I have to go through 341 guests to figure out which are duplicates. This import function should have taken 3 seconds and has now taken 2 hours.

I agree. When duplicates show up, rather than importing both, it should pop up and ask do you want to delete, edit, add, etc. I was wondering why guests were showing no address when I knew they'd entered their address but it was because their name was spelled different.
People have complained about this on forums since 2012. Developers must not have the capability to accomplish something so simple.
After detecting a duplicate entry by name, it would great if the Address Collection feature would let you decide whether to merge the contact or create a new contact.
I started with an imported list of attendees that didn't have contact details and every time I add a new contact, I end up with a duplicate and have to delete the other, then reassign them to a household. Quite frustrating.
