Contact Info on RSVP
When things are set up for the RSVP, it would be nice to also be able to use it as a contact information collection. I know that you have a contact list collector, but I am sending out the invitation with the link for RSVP (so I have all the mailing info) but I am thinking other info that families may be interested in collecting when getting together as a group... birthdates, wedding dates, or changing of address, etc
Thank you for checking in. Unfortunately we do not have an update yet for this idea yet. We’re always trying to improve the Wedding Website experience for couples so we welcome all of your great ideas.
We will continue to keep this forum updated as we make improvements!
Enjoy your planning!

This would be so helpful for the pandemic. I am having to go through and manually ask 191 for the email address instead of just collecting it when they RSVP. I think there is a much stronger use case for this as more events are shifting to virtual due to the pandemic.
At least let me customize a field to collect information with a textbox.
The two workarounds are either using the collection form and ending up with duplicate guests or directing guests to an external google form to collect the email addresses. It's messy and clunky and stressful.

I am the grandfather of the bride on an upcoming event posted on your site. How can I update my RSVP to include my wife. I am sure it was just an oversight on the part of the originator.
Do I have to go back to the source provider that booked the wedding?
It is truly ridiculous that The Knot's RSVP page does not allow you to customize it, AT ALL
1. ''Who Else is Coming From Your Household?" Who wrote that? Do you mean, "Add additional guests here"? Why can't I change the text on this page?!
2. WHY can I not send an electronic Save-The-Date from The Knot, with an RSVP function which gathers addresses as well? This is such a basic, simplified feature that is missing. And truly, it simply cannot be the case that I'm the first one to think of this. C'mon guys, are you trying to make this process even more stressful than it already is?

I'd absolutely love to see this!
I would like to be able to collect info or confirm current info when a guest RSVPs.
