Guest Accommodations - Duplicated on Wedding Website
So many of you have already reached out regarding the appearance of duplication of your Guest Accommodations - Thank you for taking the time to let us know your feedback and what you are seeing on your website.
We recently made a change to the Accommodations page on Wedding Websites based on feedback we received from other couples and guests that they were having a hard time locating where to find the hotel accommodations in the scope of the website. Currently, you will see we are testing a few ways to make this more visible on websites for your guests. This does include including Accommodations on their own tab AND in the details tab on your website. Unfortunately, there is not an option to customize this feature to appear under just one tab. If you do not have any need to add hotel accommodations, you can hide this tab under the accommodations section on your wedding website.
We would love to hear your feedback so we can pass this along to our Website Tech team as they look at how this feature is being used by your guests. Ultimately, your feedback will play a big part in how we move forward with this testing and our website design. You’ve shared your feedback and we hear you – truly. After conversations with the Product Lead over our wedding website development, we have been assured that this team is working through the possible solutions to adjust and improve the appearance and function of the accommodations/ details tabs on your wedding websites.
The goal is still to create one specific area to manage your guest accommodations while still having some ability to personalize this feature. With this in mind, the Tech team knows that the biggest ask coming from our Couples is that there should not be any duplicate information appearing on the website under multiple tabs.
While we will not be rolling this back to how it was before and we know that many of you still frustrated that your site is going to appear a bit different than when you originally published the site, we do want to be sure any future updates offer a viable solution for our couples while still creating an easy to use experience for your guests.
As soon as we get an expected date of release for future updates, we will post them again here on the forum.

I do not like the change to accommodations appearing in two places. We like having it under Details as per our invitation. At least should have provided an option after making unexpected change.
I completely agree with the February 16 comment, this solution is inefficient, confusing, and unattractive. This fix is very frustrating, as there is no way for me to remove the repetitious menu items. A much better "fix" would be instructing users on how to change the navigation titles in the menu.
A mandatory duplication of the same content in the top navigation is certainly not the best solution. It would be much easier for those couples trying to make the their accommodations information more visible to simply retitle their parent Details tab to be more clear (e.g. "Accommodations and Details"). This is an inefficient coding "fix" that makes site functionality more confusing for everyone involved--including folks who were having a hard time finding the information before, as it now seems to appear in multiple potentially contradictory places and makes the top nav functionality counterintuitive from a UX perspective. Please roll this change back and suggest customization on user's part.
I agree, please allow us to choose whether it displays as its own page on top or as a section under the Details page. Personally I prefer a section under Details, but definitely hate it in both places :/
Nooooooo! I was ready to post and now it looks awful! PUT IT BACK!!! Why on earth would anyone have 2 accomodation tabs???
The Guest Accommodations creates it's own tab when you add Hotel Info. That being said, it also displays under the 'Details' page. This seems redundant. It would be nice to be able to have it not show as it's own Page or be able to hide the Details page without also hiding the Guest Accommodations page/tab
This is awful! I spoke with customer service and was informed this was a "Deliberate" change. Unacceptable and makes wedding website look bad.

I had problems with this, as well. I thought it was a glitch at first, and went through all sorts of efforts to get it to stop.
I ended up totally resetting my theme, and had to recustomize everything.
I don't care if it's under the details tab or as its own header, but please make it be just ONE place.

Am I overlooking something or is this just a fluke on my wedding website? The Guest Accommodations has it's own tab on the top, but it is also listed under the Details tab. It's annoying and I wish there was a way to just have it under the details tab!
I am having the same issue. When can we expect this to be fixed?
I am regretting adding an accommodation because now I discover it cannot be edited or removed. My intention was to add the link for my room block when I receive it. What I thought was a temporary note now cannot be updated. In testing the addition feature, I also created a duplicate entry. This is not a good system if it can't be edited. Very frustrating.
Please! and soon! I'm getting a special link for my room block and there is no way to go back and edit.
Once wedding suggested accommodations are listed, there is no where to go back in and edit if you made a typo or posted incorrect information. You can't even delete one of the accommodations, and try again!
