Add Text Alignment to Wedding Websites
Currently, most of our Wedding Website designs are not offering the ability to align text in a custom fashion. We would love to hear from our Couples that are designing their sites about this feature. Let us know if you enjoy having the alignment decided for you or if you still see a need for us to allow this customization. We need your feedback.
Thank you for taking time to give your feedback.

I can't center my text for the main event!!! (The other ones works fine with the Edit button, but "The Wedding" can't be fixed)
They took that out after the update or something?
The old version seems to work find for me.
I am so disappointed and upset by this change. Like many others, most of my website is centered and now parts that I add are left aligned and it looks horrible. I literally just ordered my invitations with the knot website printed on them and I am having regrets. A few months ago, the knot's platform looked great and was so customizable. Now I wish I went with another website builder and will certainly not be recommending the knot to others. This is not something I am proud for my guests to see when they come to this page to RSVP for my wedding. BRING THE ALIGNMENT BACK!
All of the other pages have alignment editor tools except for the wedding and other events. I think it looks fine on mobile and desktop centered. I would love if all the pages could be edited the same way like how it currently is for the other website pages.
I am not sure why this is not working properly. But the alignment is off and looks a mess. You should allow for customization or for at least have someone on hand who can help make the alignment look better.
Please give us the option to align our text again. Most of my webpage is "center" but there is a section that I have no control over moving back to the "center." It is currently stuck on the "left" side.
Hi, I think you should absolutely add the ability to customize text alignment back into your wedding websites. My whole site is center aligned, but if I want to add in any extra notes or information, that is left aligned. I only need to use a simple <center></center> HTML tag and it would be fixed. I don't see why it was necessary to take this function out.

This new change has made my wedding website look so unprofessional and sloppy. It looks horrible on both mobile and desktop applications. We need the ability to customize the alignment of the wedding website! The fact that this was taken away is completely unacceptable!
This is a completely unacceptable change to make with zero notice. Up until recently I had line breaks within my website and it looked totally fine on both mobile and web. Now, key information cannot be called out and just appears as a giant blob of text. How will this be any easier for users? This is super disappointing, especially since we just shared Our wedding website with guests along with our save the dates. This is making me wish we had made our website elsewhere.
The Knot wedding website creator and customer service is A JOKE. I have been waiting for editing issues to be fixed since AUGUST. I left my website alone for a while because I was getting so frustrated until someone recently told me a few pictures were missing. When I went back on yesterday to re-add the pictures, all of my text got messed up and now I cannot center or add page breaks between my text and it looks ridiculous. The <center> code does not work. I have emailed customer service about other issues countless times but all I'm ever told is that they are "working diligently to solve the issues." Honestly, it should not take any company so long to fix coding issues--let alone a company as big as The Knot. If my save-the-dates weren't already out I would have been on Zola months ago. This is beyond unprofessional and I am tired of waiting. I will NEVER recommend The Knot to anyone.
This is absolutely terrible. I was given the response via an email that "We want to make sure your site appears the best on both desktop and mobile for your guests." This makes no sense as not having the ability to align makes the site appear WORSE.
Also, can this be seriously addressed and brought back to how it was before very soon? Even though there was work to be done then for usability, currently you've made everyone's websites look like garbage for their upcoming weddings.
Yes, alignment and customization is absolutely needed. Line breaks especially. Your website quality and lack of customization for the client (bride/groom) makes one want to look at Zola for their wedding homepage. My webpage for guests has been seriously degraded. Having line breaks and ability to center and italicize worked for both mobile and web cohesively.
i can't even add LINE BREAKS to the copy on the main "our wedding" page. What was once a useful few paragraphs giving guest important info is now an absolute mess and a HUGE block of text. It wont even let me add a line break with an HTML tag.
100% need and want customization back! No question that it is useful. My website looks terrible all mis-aligned now. As others have said, if everything wasn't already setup on this website I would be switching to another provider.
I can't believe this feature was removed. I went to update the ONE WORD in the description for the wedding and all of the text that had been formatted was then moved to a block of text. Absolutely unacceptable that this feature was removed without any notice.
I had since tried to update it again with the HTML code that is currently being shown for other sections of my website that still remain formatted properly and I cannot even update the section anymore.
I wish I could switch to another platform for my website that is more user friendly for myself and my guests but unfortunately the website has already been printed on Save the Dates, Invitations, RSVP requests, etc.
This would be really helpful. I was surprised that the ability doesn't exist, since the text area on custom pages does show a text alignment option, yet on the preview page the lines will be centre aligned no matter what alignment I selected on the design page.
In this case I really need a flush-left option for the text, since I am creating a custom Schedule page, and need the times for events to be vertically aligned. Right now that is not possible, since as I mentioned they become automatically centre aligned.
Yesss please!!! I added a small note at the end of my wedding section and it was aligned right instead of justified like the rest of my text, however there is no way for me to customize it. My bridal party is all left aligned and there's no way to fix that either. I wish I had the ability to customize my alignment so it would all look cohesive (instead of justified and left aligned).
Seriously? Of course couples want the ability to align text on their websites. More customization is important!!! How about a response to the other pressing issues:
- No ability to change name of "Home" page, for instance, to something like "Our Wedding," even though the "Manage Pages" section allows for the name to be changed.
- No ability to have photos show up as albums on the personal website. They all just show up individually, with only a slight space marking one album from another. Having all of the photos on one page is unwieldy. Furthermore, there's no ability to at least have the album names show up on the website.
- No ability to have a wedding venue picture show up on the website. There's nowhere to upload a venue photo via the online wedding dashboard, and while you can upload a venue photo on the app, this doesn't appear on the actual website.
- No ability to edit the cover photo so that it doesn't extend edge-to-edge on the screen.
- No ability to have drop-down menus.
These were all things that could be done on previous Knot wedding websites! Bring these back!!
