Registry Not Sorting In The Order You Choose
Registry states you can drag and drop the tiles in the order you wish when selecting the custom feature. This does not work. When I drag something it just goes back to where it originally was.I then previewed my registry as a view and it says it is in the order of "couples fav" ... this is not listed in our favorite order, won't allow us to even arrange the order ...
I then tried to have viewers just see the price high to low when they first go on my registry page and this does not work either. It keeps reverting back to "couples fav" , which as i explained is in no particular order at all.
Sending out bridal shower invites this week and would love for this to actually work as intended so guests can see what we really want!

Guests have commented that they don't notice the cash funds because they've been randomly placed in the middle of the registry. But on my side, I have purposefully arranged them to be at the top of the list. There does not appear to be a way to mark it as a "Couple's Favorite" either.
Also having this issue... this is seriously important to me to be able to sort the custom-sort the registry. It's one of the reasons we went with the Knot - why have it as an option if it doesn't WORK

It seems they might have fixed this issue...at least partially. After logging in every single day for the past couple weeks to see if this was fixed, I was able to actually custom sort today. Who knows if it will stick, but it worked. Except there is one aspect that didn't work: I moved my Knot cash fund to the very top to be the very first item, and it still remains at the very bottom. It's incredibly frustrating. Also, anyone else notice how you now have to click "show more" to see the buttons for all of your registries appear at the top of the page? Only two appear. I have 6 (including the Knot cash fund) and the buttons for all 6 used to appear automatically at the top, and now that's not the case. It's remarkable how the Knot keeps making changes and making this worse, not better.
Please Fix. People are starting to buy items on our registry and our good stuff and cash fund is a the bottom......
The wish list doesn't update. It is displaying items that have been removed from our registry. Please remove the wish list feature altogether and just have guests click through to individual registries! This feature is very annoying.
Okay y'all. I got tired of the lack of communication and went to Twitter (because of course you can get a better response there than here.. *insert eye roll*)
I DM'd The Knot Support and asked when this feature would be working.. they responded: "Currently, our Wish List sorting option is not functioning on our wedding website registry page. Our Tech team is aware of the issue and is working on registry platform updates for the future. We anticipate the launch of these updates to be sometime this summer.
As a work around to the issue, I am happy to remove the individual registry items from your Wish List section, and provide links to your retail registries in the Gift Provider section at the top of your registry page. This will move your Cash Funds and any items added by using the browser button, to the top of your Wish List.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope you and your guests will still find the display of your registry items useful in the meantime."
So basically they are lumping this fix into a bunch of other **** they are doing and it's changing sometime this summer.
If you aren't too early into the planning process I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going somewhere else than the The Knot for your website needs. Given the changes coming 'sometime this summer' I can bet there will be even more issues. It's too late for me as my wedding is in July... but if you can, get out now!
I have really enjoyed using The Knot for all of our wedding planning, including our registry. The Knot registry has allowed us to combine things we like from multiple places on one easy to access location for our guests. HOWEVER, it is very frustrating that there is really no organization to the registry. My guests want to buy a collection of gifts that fit together, but nothing is organized in a way that makes sense. They want to purchase items that go in one room, but you have to sift through the whole registry to find ideas.
My guests and I would really appreciate a better sort option, particularly one that sorts the gifts by room. It's useful, more efficient, and more visually appealing.
The wish list section is actually horrible, and I cannot believe that it was added with no option to remove it. Similar to others on this comment feed, I'm sending out invites soon and the registry portion has completely ruined my experience - I will not recommend TheKnot again. You have to click 'see more' to even see my other registry options now too? Like come on, just remove the feature, and roll it out again with a remove option to a few customers - don't roll out the feature to everyone and ignore the issues.
I am having the same difficulty. The knot offers "customize" on the wish list but any attempt to move the images they just revert back to their original spot and "couples favorites" is not accurate because they are not in any particular order. I would like to have our house cash fund show up first on the images but any attempt to move it..it only reverts back to its original spot..which is last!!

Zola has a feature where you can favorite one of your registry items to make it your most wanted and it will show up first on your registry list. I wish the knot had this feature because my honeymoon fund that I want to show up first, shows up last. People will be more likely to give to the honeymoon fund if they see that it is our most wanted item. Even an option to organize the registry by price would help. I see it can be filtered by low to high or high to low, but it can be easily missed by a guest. I really hope you guys take my suggestion into consideration, I think it would help a lot of people. Thank you!
Take away the custom option if you don't actually provide the ability to do it. It's false advertising!

Clearly by your response you have no intention of fixing this. I should have gone with Zola. Don’t give a generic response and think that’s good customer service. Actually solve the problem. Ridiculous. I will not recommend the knot to anyone.
If you try to move the items around in the custom sort the list must be glitch currently because it moves right back to where it originally was.
I think it would be a good idea to put cash funds at the top of the registry. If someone is registering for a cash fund they probably need the money for something important. At least for me, my cash fund got put in the middle of everything and that makes it hard to find, but for me it is the most important thing on the registry. When I tried dragging to sort, it did not work, so I cannot even put it up at the top where I want it.
We're looking into another website solely because this feature is broken. Please fix!
